I was hoping for a little less guarantee just in case he can't hold up during camp and has to be let go. I know Tre will work hard to get back some of his skills and the extra time further from the injuries may help a lot. I'm not expecting him to be a starter, but he could be good depth and maybe see time at dime. Quote

Shortly after that Poyer started to decline and Micah was never truly the same when he came back. To blame all our 3rd down troubles on 2 guys is ridiculous. It was safeties, CBs and LBers and the whole group had problem. Bringing back Tre and Dane do nothing to insure confidence in him. Dane was one of the worst 3rd down DBs I have seen and last year Tre went from starting to bench to be shipped out by December. As far as paying Benford, what good is he in January if he’s unavailable during the biggest games? He’s our #1 so it’s more crucial to lose him than anyone else. It's not like he has all these soft tissue injuries, he was knocked out cold and unable to return. Quote

It's a bit more than I hoped for but not too bad. Seems they hope that Tre makes the 53 man roster. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/21768/tredavious-white Imagine saying four years ago that we signed Tre White in 2025 to a one year deal that carried a $2.88m cap hit and thinking that might be a little more than we hoped for. Life comes at you fast. 1 Quote

Apocalypse Nuts Posted Thursday at 12:55 AM Posted Thursday at 12:55 AM I’m so happy to see that Tre White smile again. It’s so genuine and shows he is really happy to be back in Buffalo. 1 1 Quote

Kornfed Posted Thursday at 09:52 AM Posted Thursday at 09:52 AM (edited) All I can say is …. It would be great to see him regain/excel in his return. Tre is one of the really good guys we’ve had the pleasure to have in our modern era Bills. He couldn’t fake it on any level if he had to. It’s always great to see guys who are just good people. When we see the likes of Tre, Mack Hollins, Mitch Morris (u know who they are) … to name a few (not to mention Josh) …. Ya can’t help but respect guys with that level of tough, dedicated, focused athletic accomplishment, keeping his feet on the ground. …. How I see it anyway … Think Kyle Williams) ….. GO TRE! .. GO BILLS Edited Thursday at 10:02 AM by Kornfed Quote
babulator Posted Thursday at 11:38 AM Posted Thursday at 11:38 AM If we bring that Lombardi home this year, I'll be glad he was a part of it. Nothing but ❤️ for Tre. 1 Quote

Maine-iac Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM The question with Tre clearly isn't whether knows how to be a starting CB. The question is how well can he move after numerous injuries. If he comes in and proves that he can still move even 80 percent of what he used to I could see him as starting CB2. I hope we draft a CB who is good enough to start at CB2 but I hope it's because he's so good as a rookie that he earns it and not because Tre can't move anymore. I hope we legitimately have two guys who could start at CB2. Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted Thursday at 06:17 PM Posted Thursday at 06:17 PM I love this signing because Beane won’t pick a CB out of desperation. If he still takes one at 30, OK. But it won’t feel like Elam Quote
billsfan714 Posted Thursday at 06:17 PM Posted Thursday at 06:17 PM (edited) I wonder what Tre's 40 time is presently after a ACL and a achiles injury. I gotta believe with injury and age hes a few tenths slower. Edited Thursday at 06:19 PM by billsfan714 Quote
