I just mentioned the other day in the Bradberry thread that if their looking at him why not look at Tre? He's younger, a fan fav and farther removed from injury. Who cares if he can't play? He looked absolutely abysmal for the Ravens 2 1 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Ok I’m good with this for the same reasons I would have been good with Bradberry. Hopefully they feel confident that they can go BPA. White isn’t what he used to be, but he is still a starting corner in the league. Maybe they know they can’t get the corner they want, and this is a stop gap who kinda lets them draft a guy coming off injury like Revel or Morrison, or a raw player like Porter or Thomas. BPA Beane. Do it the right way for once. 1 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I wonder if they still like Ingram ? He might be out the door now if they draft someone Quote

I no longer have any clue what to expect next week. I can’t imagine this has any impact on their draft plans. This is an effort to shore up the floor of the DB room. 4 Quote

Ingram has actually made plays when given the chance. He’s a darkhorse for CB2 IMO Benford White Ingram Dane 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted April 17 Posted April 17 So I just remembered we have $4.1M in dead cap on Tre this year... Does signing him change that? 1 Quote
Donuts and Doritos Posted April 17 Posted April 17 (edited) Per PFF (below) Tre White was very average to below average last year. Seems like a lot of $ for average. Just above league minimum fine otherwise see if Douglas will take less than this. Don't love this honestly. https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/tredavious-white/11782 Edited April 18 by Donuts and Doritos 1 Quote

aristocrat Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Hopefully a nice offseason of healing from the injury will help him. Big locker room guy Quote

But I don't see him doing anything on the field this season. I doubt Beane is gonna waste a roster spot for a lockerroom guy that won’t see the field Quote

JerseyBills Posted April 17 Posted April 17 So basically Tre for Douglas Dane for Elam I'll take it. Hopefully a rookie climbs to the top 3 1 Quote
NeverOutNick Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Hopefully Tre is recovered from the injury. He’s so smart, this will be a good signing and best of what was out there. Maybe you can get Douglas for the same deal Quote
DrMaxPower Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I like the the move. If he can be 80% of what he was we've got a decent cb room pre-draft. Hopefully now 2 years out from achilles he's closer to his old self. Took him 2 years to get over the knee. Worried he's cooked though. Didn't see a lot last year but what I did wasn't good. Worth the risk. 2 Quote
