KingBoots8 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 (edited) In a mentorship role and backup capacity, I love this. Draft a CB in the first 3 picks and let Tre take him to Goalie school. still a bit pricey though… Edited April 17 by KingBoots8 14 2 1 2 2 Quote

jahnyc Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I guess Douglas will not be back. Would have preferred Rasul. 12 5 1 1 3 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Had to make sure it was legit!!! This makes me happy even if it may be a bit ceremonial. it sucks what injuries did to him. He was getting back to his old form and then got hurt again. Hopefully being a few years removed can get him back to 75% of his old self. at the absolute worst, it shows how loyal an organization the Bills are and players wanting to be in Buffalo. Great message for players around the nfl to hear. 10 2 5 1 4 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 NICE!!! I wonder if moving him to FS would be considered. Either way, hopefully he’s healthy and can compete for CB2 / help mentor a rookie 1 1 1 Quote

Sheftner is pay by the agents to leak things so he announces the most the contract can be. “Up to” is the key phrase. Mostly he won’t get it but if he does, it is probably well earned because he played well and hit incentives. 2 3 2 Quote
The Jokeman Posted April 17 Posted April 17 (edited) Edit: I reread and it's an "up to" $6.8 million as I can't see us shelling that much after his struggles the last few seasons. I'm okay with it. Edited April 17 by The Jokeman 1 Quote

TheBeaneBandit Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I've always secretly hoped something like this could happen where Tre recovered enough to rejoin the Bills and bring one home 1 6 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I'm not entirely surprised given what was out there. Bumps Dane into a will he make the roster or not situation. Wasn't good for the Rams but surprisingly was pretty decent for the Ravens when he got there. I thought he looked alright against the Bills nothing spectacular but held his own type thing especially after all the injuries. Good for him coming back to where it started and hopefully he has some type of juice left to help us in a depth role. 4 Quote
