TD716 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 The bills realized they needed a run stuffing 1T halfway thru the 2023 season and they brought in Joseph. They didn’t resign Joseph. They fell asleep at the wheel in 2024 and didn’t bring in a true 1T to hold/push the line of scrimmage. The Bills need to bring in at least two 1T to the roster. Just look at what pocket pushing 1T did to Mahomes in the bowl. 1 Quote

I'd also like to get another big guy to make 2 solid pairings. Nolen and ED then maybe a Collins and Carter. If we can manage a 4some like that, we should be able to go into the 1st 6 weeks with a much better lineup. DQ this year is gonna be like when we kept Star too long. cut. Bring JP back at least until week 6. Heck, maybe they can add Caldwell later. Edited April 17 by nosejob 1 Quote
T master Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I'm not up on all of the players coming out in the draft this year just the ones I've heard about by listening to certain people that are in the know more so than me, but by looking at the teams that pick before us some of which have defensive needs too I would be surprised if any of the big guys make it to us at 30 . The only way I see the Bills getting "The Guy" they want is if Beane goes after him and moves up which we all know he ain't scared to do that, matter of fact I think he has that plan all laid out . He's been at the top of my list for awhile. Saying all that and going by the Mock Drafts here, we might be best off taking a CB in the first,(Revel, Amos) the best ones are all gone before our first 2nd round pick. Then maybe manage getting Collins or Walker in the 2nd round. I think 1T and CB are our first two picks, in whichever way. Don't be surprised to see a familiar face back at CB. What would it take for the Bills to move up to top of the second round? Take a CB at 30 then move up for DT. There is no way they use all 10 picks. 1 Quote

Granted we don't have a 3rd round pick but with two 4ths and numerous 5ths, moving back up into the 3rd shouldn't be too difficult. 1 Quote

Craig Oi Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I also think that in this draft it looks like CB depending on if there isn't a run on them before 30. The drop off from the top5 is much more drastic than at DT, especially for a 1T which I believe will still be available in the 2nd. Bean will move according to our board to get his guys. Benford as CB2 and a space eaterDT , maybe a speedster WR, a safety ...We will soon find out...GO BILLS! Quote
