Warriorspikes51 Posted Thursday at 02:37 AM Posted Thursday at 02:37 AM Beane only drafts 1 DT and the player is an undersized fringe 3 Tech that’s a huge fail 2 1 Quote

It's effectively a crapshoot. We'll get who we get. Exactly. I’m so over draft talk at this point just pick somebody that fills a need. Don’t care who or what position it is 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted Thursday at 03:08 AM Posted Thursday at 03:08 AM Grant, Starks, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Hairston, Harmon, Barron, Green and Amos are all off the board and Buffalo can't find a team that wants to move up so Buffalo can trade down. 2 Quote
Big Turk Posted Thursday at 03:20 AM Posted Thursday at 03:20 AM We don't trade up to #1 and take Vontae Mack... No matter what. Quote

But what about Revel, Morrison, Watts, Nolen, Burden III? Are they available? What other DL prospects are currently being UNDER valued by fans/draftniks? Is TJ Sanders a fringe 1st rd guy? What about, gulp, Landon Jackson? (I fear the Bills love him a lot.) (Green's not even on a McBeane draft board tbh. But the others comprise an appealing list of pick #30 prospects. To see the scenario where they're all gone at 30 as "doomsday" is a little silly, depending on the availability of players I mentioned above.) Quote
Wizard Posted Thursday at 03:34 AM Posted Thursday at 03:34 AM (edited) If the first words I hear from McDermott and Beane are "great motor, high character, and can play special teams" as the first attributes mentioned on their first 3 picks. I want to hear..." shut down the field, maul guys, separates and score touchdowns, flawless technique." You know, the stuff that really matters! Get an elite player or guys that at least are disruptors. Edited yesterday at 02:57 AM by Wizard 3 Quote
MarlinTheMagician Posted Thursday at 10:57 AM Posted Thursday at 10:57 AM Not getting Grant or Collins and Amos or Morrison. We easily have the draft capital to make sure it happens, and if we do those two things I think the draft is a success. It is possible we don't have to move much, but Beane has to be ready to do so. I will cry if we get Trent McDuffie'd again. 2 Quote
BritBill Posted Thursday at 11:14 AM Posted Thursday at 11:14 AM The Bills draft to what everyone is hoping for an there are no internet based meltdowns. Seeing online strangers lose their shite over the draft is one of my favourite Spring pastimes. 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted Thursday at 11:35 AM Posted Thursday at 11:35 AM Honestly, it's probably Ezeiruaku at #30. It's not that I don't think he is a decent player but to me it would be a repeat of last year, a low ceiling use of our first selection. 1 Quote
Bill from NYC Posted Thursday at 11:38 AM Posted Thursday at 11:38 AM McDermott will insist on trading up to draft a corner. I can see this on a a cold dark night from miles away. One thing I have learned from being a Bills Fan for many decades is that history really does repeat itself. It is going to happen and it will once again harm the team. The good news? I'm not going to stress out the way I used to. What was it they said about being granted serenity? I will post a comment or two but it won't be tearing me apart the way it used to. I will be a BIlls Fan if they draft defensive backs in every round. Front office idiocy has not stopped, and will not stop me from supporting the team. PS: In my non-expert opinion, the quality of this draft is quite poor, but I will still watch and hope for a Bills miracle. 2 Quote

Bongo Posted Thursday at 12:16 PM Posted Thursday at 12:16 PM I get to operate through “ ignorance is bliss” so not much doomsday until a year or two later. I don’t watch much college ball so don’t really know the players like a lot of you do. If they take a guard, I’ll just assume he’s the greatest guard in the history of football until proven otherwise. 🙂 On a related note to that ignorance, it makes watching the board conversations interesting. When this draft build-up started, Kenneth Grant was the second coming of Jesus on here. So much so that I was getting excited about him. Now, if we take him over a top corner we’re craaaazzzzyyyy. I don’t know enough to know which is right but it’s great to see the ebb and flow of thought. 1 Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted Thursday at 12:31 PM Posted Thursday at 12:31 PM Has C.J. Spiller got any distant relatives in the draft? Bills need an RB that can use ALL the gridiron. Quote
