The Yardbirds in concert

     I saw the Yardbirds in concert Sunday night in Homer,NY. It was fantastic. They may not have Beck or Paige anymore, but the three guitarists they do have were perfect. That and the history of the Yardbirds from the start until they morphed into Led Zepellin. The singer even sounded like Keith Relf.

 

    I bring this up because they are in Annapolis, Md at Rams Head on Stage tonight.  If you like Rock, Blues or great guitar playing, you should take this opportunity to see them.  I would readily go if they were close to me.

Holy crap. I did not think “The Yardbirds” would be back on stage. Are there any original members left?
 

If no originals, it would seem like a tribute band, but with the blessing of whoever owns the name.

 

Great band, I’m sure it was a fun experience.

Edit - I looked it up. Original Jim McCarty is still with them. And a singer who has been with them for 30 years. I had no idea they were still working. Very cool.
