If they trade for him he will be

No they won’t lol. No one is trading anything for Ramsey to pay him $25M next year. They will renegotiate or get the Dolphins to eat contract.

This is like when everyone said the Bills shouldn’t trade for Davante because he was gonna cost $35M and the Jets paid $11M.

I'm still out...as Vontae Davis(RIP) once told Tre and Shady "It's a young man's game boo...I just ain't got it no more...you'll see one day".  Ramsey's day is coming real soon.

I’ll take him if he pays us to play here

Only if he retracts his Josh is trash comment... LOL...  but seriously, I dont want to kick the can down the road for a 30 something diminishing 25mm CB.  Just my opinion.

It does feel like we can "insert" NE into 2nd place in the AFCE this year. Unless injuries hit hard or the Bills suffer a devastating injury (17) then they should sleepwalk to another division title. Which at this point doesn't mean much as the Bills will be judged again on what happens in the playoffs.

I like some of the NE additions, and coaching certainly makes a difference, but 4-13 is 4-13 (and its barely that when you factor in the 4th win was against a team of backups).  They lost twice to miami last year, and one of those games was started by Huntley.

Miami went 8-9 last year with Tua missing 6 games, and the year before he played 17 games and they won 11.  They lost 3 winnable games to Seattle, Tennessee, and Indianapolis in the 4 game stretch week 3-7 while he was out.  I think they still continue to struggle against good teams, but they have beaten non-playoff teams pretty handily when Tua is healthy.  I don't think that changes much if they move ramsey, as usually the gap between bad and mediocre is about as big as the gap between mediocre and good.

I just think NE is trending up and MIA and NYJ have gotten worse. We will see how the draft plays out for these teams as well. I do think Vrabel is a good coach who will turn the Pats around. You may be right in that the Dolphins finish ahead of the Pats for this year, but I think NE will eventually become the Bills toughest challenger in the AFCE in the near future.

This became inevitable when he signed that contract.  Raise your hand if you are surprised. I think Haslam may have been advising the Dolphins on that one.

This is a bummer because now there is one more team looking for an outside corner probably in the first 2 rounds of the draft.

Are yall saying someone who’s 30, and is still very good in coverage, borderline elite run defender and blitzer. isn’t an upgrade to Dane Jackson?

That’s what we’re going with here?

Anyway the guarenteed money this year means it’s a non-starter for Buffalo. But he’d be worth it otherwise

Yeah, i just think free agency makes everything seem hunky dory and it was a terrible roster a year ago.  One draft and a bunch of free agents doesn't necessarily fix that.  A 32 y/o WR1 coming off an ACL is a recipe for disappointment.  A DT getting a massive contract after a fine season and better postseason seems like it has higher than normal bust potential.  Barmore's return is probably the biggest get for them.  Then as good as Maye looked at times... his last game they lost by 33 and he had 85 net yards passing.

Big mouth and overrated ,  used his mouth to get paid and never really showed to be a shut down corner.  Like who wants that garbage contract?

There is an easyish out after this season, so some team with a lot of immediate cap space and the need for a one-year rental at CB could take that swing.  I just went and looked at available cap space, and have come to the conclusion that he'll be either a Niner or a Cowboy within the next few days.

The ascent of Drake Maye has been greatly exaggerated. I like Maye, but everyone is acting like it's a given he's a top 10 QB this year are fooling themselves

The Patriots season completely rides on the ascension of their 2nd year QB, if he continues to develop then the Patriots will compete for 2nd in the division, nobody knows how it will unfold.

Asante Samuel said on Twitter today that he believes Ramsey has reached the point in his career where he should become a free safety.

I actually think Samuel is on to something. Dude would be a playmaker there.
