Sanders is a pure 3 tech only who kinda just becomes the new Jordan Phillips and I am not down for another slow receiver with Harris. He would be like receiver 5 on the depth chart. Makes no sense at this point imo.  

That’s where we differ-  I think Collins is more like Jordan Phillips than Sanders is.  I probably hold Sanders in higher regard than most when it comes to pure 3T disruptive play.  
 

I do like the thought of lining up Collins next to Grant in certain situations, but give me the guy who specializes in making plays in the backfield.

 

Collins is a guy I’d be happy with in rd 2 in every case- except this one.

As the Titans GM in this draft I jokingly offered up pick #35 to the Bills for both of their 2nd round picks ... It wasn't a popular idea ... Revel and Amos were both still on the board at that point. As a fan, I now wish the Bills had made the deal and taken one of the corners.

 

After taking two 1 Tech DTs, that position is set, CB #2 is not. Who will be the pick at #60 ?

We then at the very least would not be undersized at DT anymore and presumably would feel more confident in containing the opposing running game.

 

1TDT would then be well stocked for the next 3 seasons.

I just do not see what people like about Harris for the Bills.  He is exactly the wrong skill set for what they need.  He might be a Mack Hollins replacement in 3 years.

I’m with @GunnerBill. I don’t care where the team needs are within reason. I’m not taking a 3rd round grade DB in round 2.

 

 

Might've easily been able to play if he hadn't missed most of TC with an injury. We'll never know.

 

Agreed that you don't take a 3rd round DB in round 2. But I don't think that's under consideration. Could be, though, that you think he's a round 3 guy and they think he's a 2.

I'd be genuinely really surprised if any corners beyond the names regularly mentioned here: Hunter, Barron, Johnson, Revel, Amos, Hariston, Morrison, Thomas, Porter actually go in the first two rounds. The one I give a squeak to is Nohl Williams. I know, 32 different teams, 32 different boards, but there genuinely is a very clear drop off to my eye and the draft has so much strength at defensive line I think teams will be reluctant to reach down the board for cornerbacks.

Yeah, think contributor more than starter, and I think most of us are on the same page. A WR or d-lineman who plays significant snaps off the bench would fit the mold.

I'd take Bond out. With his criminal and character concerns no chance he is a Bills option this high.

I can see the Bills double dipping with Royals and Bond if Bond slips because of his legal troubles. The Bills won’t draft Bond in the top 4 rounds. I’d be shocked.
