That being said, feel awful for his family and the fact that he felt that this was his only way out. Extremely sad.

Clearly the outcome of his actions affected him negatively. Says something positive about his character.

Let’s be clear about one thing … it was Jerry LEE Lewis.

 

And not only did he f*ck AND marry his adolescent cousin … he killed her. 
 

So yeah … scum. 

 

And everyone else you remembered (thank you, by the way) …. All pure scum. 
 

Also .. their “mistakes” were on an entirely different level than this kid’s.

He drove like an idiot. Then left the scene while not knowing the extent of the damage he caused. A massive amount of people could have shared his fate that likely don't even rise to the level of "woman beater" in the scheme of scum bags. Its horrible somebody lost there life in this accident. Also horrible that now two lives are lost.

The guy has passed away. Any debt he owed in life is now gone. His family is left without a brother, son, father, friend and more. It is tragic he chose to end his life instead of of atone for his mistakes and overcome his demons.

 

This isn't justice for the family of the man struck and killed and this isn't justice for the life of Karen Lacy. Both were given the gift of life.

Remember this guy was human and made mistakes but still had family and loved ones who are devastated by this and are trying to deal with it.  Criticizing his faults seems pretty damn insensitive right now.

Im seeing reports he shot himself after crashing in a police pursuit…. You know, 2 days before the grand jury for his causing a death with his reckless driving 

 

 

if that’s correct, one might argue no lesson was truly learned and he died how he lived - putting innocent people at risk while dodging accountability

Former LSU receiver Kyren Lacy was founddead late Saturday night from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after a police pursuit, the Harris County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office said Sunday. He was 24.

The Constable’s Office responded to a call Saturday evening from one of Lacy’s family members who said he shot a gun into the ground, according to the sheriff’s office. Lacy left before authorities arrived. When law enforcement tried to stop his car about 20 minutes later, he fled again. The pursuit lasted several miles until his car crashed, the sheriff’s office said.

As law enforcement officials moved to try to take him into custody, they discovered his gunshot wound and a handgun in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the preliminary investigation determined he shot himself before his car crashed, according to the sheriff’s office.

the dude declared for the draft 3 days after the accident without taking responsibility for the crash.

You mean he tried to convince himself that he still had a future with millions of dollars involved vs a direct path to jail?  Given he killed himself it doesn't appear like he was managing his thoughts on the subject in a very healthy way.

even this story continues to grow with his gun firing allegedly being in the commission of stealing his sisters car

 

 

i get being polite around suicide in the news but…. “Found dead” didn’t really give any color to the apparent saga his final hours were. Reading the story this morning I assumed he was discovered in his home after a discrete/private incident not that he stole a family members car via gun lead a police chase and shot himself crashing into a building

100% the guy sounds like trash. Perhaps humanity is better off without him. It's not my call, don't know whose it is. At the same time it is concerning because a friend and loved one was lost to many. I can't imagine what his sister is going through, I just can't. 

 

This whole situation sucks but each part of his actions were choices he made. I hate that for him.
