I once watched a documentary about football. In it, one NFL QB had 7 surgeries in a single offseason and played the subsequent season. I guess it depends on what's being operated on.

Saints should pick Sanders and kick off their rebuild.

This seems to be the dilemma at the moment. Do they just punt on 2025 and try to get the hometown hero? Do they like Sanders or Dart enough to take them at 9 and start them right away?

If it was me I'd take the BPA at #9. Take a QB day 2... unless you think Spencer Rattler is better than what you get there. And if you start 0-3 then throw the towel in and tank the season if Arch is coming out. I know @Buffalo716 thinks he will stay in school.

They are gonna take Sanders if he slides  to them and they should

Staying in school would be possible but I think if the Saints pick 1, he comes out. The roots are so deep in that organization and city with that family. Arch lives less than 15 minutes from the practice facility and dome. The Prince who was promised

Pick #30 probably just got a little more valuable.  Saints, Giants, Browns will potentially all be looking to move up to end of 1st round to get the 2nd tier QB (Dart, Millroe, Shough) of their choice.

There’s lots of smoke he won’t be declaring. I don’t think any Manning QB has ever not played 3 seasons .

I can see him deciding based on who has the 1st overall, like Peyton did.

Agree. I think Carr is a real high character guy, and I like him for that. But he seems way too inconsistent or even washed. He’s not going to get anyone to the playoffs.

Do the Saints have enough talent on their roster to compete for the NFC South division if they swapped in Aaron Rodgers for Carr?  👀
