Chandler#81 Posted Thursday at 10:39 PM Posted Thursday at 10:39 PM (edited) https://youtu.be/pAv-gCqf7yE?si=eo4IhvGKUP93aUjf 1964/65 we won the AFL title and fought hard to be the 1st ever 3peat Pro Football champion in ‘66. The core of the great Lou Saban teams was still mostly intact but beginning to age. We started 0-2 but turned the season around to host the AFL Championship game. This time, the winner would advance to the 1st AFL/NFL World Championship game (soon to be renamed the Super Bowl). A rare great find in very good condition. The heroes of my youth! ENJOY! Chandler#81 Posted yesterday at 07:01 AM Author Posted yesterday at 07:01 AM You’d be hard pressed to find a better preserved film from this era. Our Wall of Fame hails many of these great players. Hopefully they’ll finally realize their oversight and add Butch Byrd soon. 2 2 Quote
Stranded in Boston Posted yesterday at 01:26 PM Posted yesterday at 01:26 PM (edited) Thanks, Chan, you made my morning! Pity that Bobby Burnett blew his knee out later and never had a chance to build on that promising rookie year. Also, can you believe that George Blanda was already a *17* year veteran in 1966!
