Bills fans spoiled my master plan as the Bears GM typical lol. I was going to try to trade with Detroit but he was too quick and so was Washington

Obvious massive need still imo. Watching lots of niner games, I’m of the belief that Jaylon Moore is a backup caliber LT.  

 

I hope this doesn’t happen irl

I was trying to trade up to get Simmons in front of you, I figured you wouldn’t move off it but thought I’d try. He’s my # 1 true LT and number 2 Tackle in the draft behind Membou, and think I have him at 19 overall in my top 100. He would have been who I took at 30 if the Bills would have traded with me 

 

 

With that said there is a trade!!! The Chicago Bears trade pick 34 and a 2026 4th rounder to the Eagles for the 32nd pick.

Yeah, I couldn’t believe he was still available.  I was about to accept your trade but thought to myself “hmmm let me just check to see if Simmons is still available”.   Made it easy to decline the offer.

I would be happy for them to be able to get Grant, but I think CB will be fully picked over before pick 56.  
 

I don’t think either of the 4ths & 56 gets you high enough to get a CB who has a reasonable shot at starting as a rookie.

The Cleveland Browns select Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa St.  
 

This has been a very lucky draft for us so long.  First, Ward falls into our lap, and now Higgins falls to the 2nd round, who was our third ranked WR.  Higgins has the size, speed, and production we believe will translate to the NFL and gives Ward time to build chemistry early.  
 

The Eagles @Mike in Horseheads are on the clock.

Yeah this is what makes it really interesting. Of they don't pick CB round 1 then it seems very likely that quite a big trade up will be required to get one in round 2.

 

So it really seems that Beane might be forced to take CB in round 1 which I'd hate unless that guy will be BPA on their board or close to it.

 

Curious to see how it ends up here in TBD mock draft.

I moved up solely because I thought Hampton was a possibility at your pick. If the Giants hadn’t offered a deal, I probably would have taken Hampton at 10. 
 

My goal was to trade 34 to either 28 or 30 and get Simmons because I knew the Chiefs would take him. Then I was worried you would take Hampton at 33 hence me jumping you at 32 . If my trade went through with the Bills, I then would have traded 39 to the Eagles and gotten both Simmons and Hampton who are much higher in my top 100. Hampton has a true first round grade and Simmons might be my first or 2nd guy with a 2nd round grade. I only have 17 first round grades this year

The runningback depth is so good in this draft, I wasn’t going to rush one.  Too much value at other positions.  Also, our WR core has been in shambles for years.

I do think Higgins is going to go around where the Browns took him. Might even slip onto round 1 but more likely the first 5-10 picks of round 2

I don’t think there is anyone on the board here worth that much and that’s a big over pay by the Bills too at the equivalent of a 4th round pick.  
 

Can’t see how this would make any sense for the Bills personally.
