With the 29th pick the Commanders select Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia. The Bills are on the clock @Virgil.

 

This is a perfect meeting of need with value. Mykel Williams could easily go in the top 15 so we feel like we got a steal. We need to rebuild basically our entire DL and Williams has the frame and length to develop into a cornerstone.

Oh how I hated that movie.  3 years of 2nd round picks to trade into the top 10 completely ruined that movie for me.

The Baltimore Ravens select Malaki Starks, S, Georgia.

 

GM - The board fell beautifully for us and we had some tough choices to make.  We wanted to reinforce our offensive line, but it's tough to argue the success we had running the ball last year.  Starks provides us a top tier piece to line up beside Hamilton, and our Safety duo is set for years to come.

Oh yeah I get that, I was more just commenting about how you said you were surprised the trade up didn't get more interest...where I think the reason was likely the options in the poll were too expensive and lacked more appealing options using day 3 pick(s) to make a smaller move up.

When I was attempting to login there was a warning stating that the security certificate had expired.

 

I was following the thread all day waiting for my turn to pick.

 

Belatedly I welcome Maxwell Hairston to the Minnesota Vikings!

 

I will continue to follow the draft even though the Vikings have no further picks.

 

If I was to have made the pick as the Vikings GM, it would have been Jihaad Campbell (LB), who could have been a versatile chess piece for Brian Flores to unleash.
