The threat of Deion Sanders taking Daboll's job in 2026 would loom large, but if they don't get the QB position figured out it's a lame duck job in any case. Great trade and pick Kirby. It's a semi-realistic move that would shake up the entire draft. I felt like it made sense (even though I don’t love Sanders). It gets the Giants out of paying Thibodeaux and gets the QB. It’s a mini-reset. The Bears will get Thibodeaux, a starter at 34, probably a starter at 65 and maybe a starter in the 3rd next year. Felt reasonable 2 Quote

The Giants are back on the clock. Bears thought process: First Ryan Poles loves to trade for veteran players and adding Thibodeaux would fill a huge need opposite of Montez Sweat on the defense and Thibodeaux is a better prospect still than every DE in this draft outside of Carter. Membou, Campbell, and Jeanty were all off the board and this is the start of the dead zone in this draft imo where you can get the same player at 34 than you can at 10. We added multiple picks to add to our young core and a DE that we hope can regain his 2023 form. Now we own 34,39, and 41, filled one of our big needs and added what could be a high 3rd round pick in 2026 The trade can stand, but please remember that we aren’t allowing player trades. It’s in the OP. Also, please send all trades to me for review just to confirm trade points value. 1 Quote

They can afford to pick up his 5th year since Williams is on the rookie deal even if he’s not worth it. I didn’t want to try to squeeze Kirby for more because once Graham went I was like well I don’t really wanna take someone here at 10. I probably would have taken Hampton at 10 tbh This is one of the trade offers I turned down at 9 because I didn't feel I could pass on Graham when he fell to 9. Main thing for me is that I am not as high on Thibodeaux as some, so his value isn't a 2nd rounder for me personally as I think he is a bit over rated. And that led to the value just not being enough there for me to pass on Graham and then drop to 34. But it was a solid offer from Kirby, just Graham was too much value at 9 to move out of the pick when he fell in the Saints lap. Edited Thursday at 10:04 PM by Alphadawg7 2 1 Quote

Felt reasonable Yeah I can see how this would make sense for the Giants, especially if they land Carter. And I can see how this could appeal to the Bears too if this trade went down given who is on the board, although we don't often see teams move that far back either, so would come down to how they value Thibs internally. 1 Quote
Might Rather Posted Thursday at 10:32 PM Posted Thursday at 10:32 PM With the 12th pick the Dallas Cowboys select Tetairoa McMillan, WR Arizona @TOboy is on the clock. We filled a big need with our top reciver still on the board here. A Possession receiver with the size and ball skills to create big wins deep. He’s a linear route-runner who wears press coverage early and has a feel for uncovering underneath. We hope McMillan will make the quarterback’s job easier. 3 Quote
TOboy Posted Thursday at 10:37 PM Posted Thursday at 10:37 PM With the 13th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft the Miami Dolphins select Jalon Walker, Edge, from Georgia. Miami was tempted to address needs in the secondary, but couldn’t pass up the upside of the young edge rusher in this spot. @CNYfan and the Colts are now on the clock. 2 Quote
H2o Posted Thursday at 11:56 PM Posted Thursday at 11:56 PM Just a heads up, the Cardinals are open for business @ #16 if you're looking to trade up. Quote
CNYfan Posted Friday at 12:25 AM Posted Friday at 12:25 AM With the 14th selection in the second TSW Mock Draft the Indianapolis Colts select Ty Warren TE Penn State The Colts get the Position and the player that they wanted. This big fella can in line block willingly and well and is catching TE as well. Warren had a 1.8% (!) drop rate at Penn State and can run the field. The Colts understand that they are weak all over and TE is not a premium position, but they feel that this is a premium player, and they do want to help their QBs, Richardson and Jones, with this type of security. Has energy and swagger to lift the offense. the falcons and @RyanC883 aree on the clock. 3 Quote

With 6th pick of the 2025 TWS draft the Las Vegas Raiders select; Will Johnson, CB, Michigan. The Raiders with Jeanty off the board go for BPA at their highest positional need. Johnson is a game changer, with athletic traits made for CB. In a deep draft of RB’s they can fill RB in the 2nd or 3rd. The Jets and @section122 are on the ⏰ @GunnerBill try some TheraFlu and get some rest 😆 Edited Friday at 02:01 AM by QLBillsFan Quote
Richard Noggin Posted Friday at 03:16 AM Posted Friday at 03:16 AM So, just now looked at this mock draft so far (through pick 14), and...I have questions. First question: what the **** 1 Quote
RyanC883 Posted Friday at 03:45 AM Posted Friday at 03:45 AM With the 15th pick, the Atlanta Falcons select James Pearce, Jr. Edge, TN. The Falcons thought about drafting a CB, but the depth is there and the Falcons also need an Edge to place opposite FA Floyd. The Falcons hope Pearce can be a passing down contributor while filling out his abilities against the run. @H2o and the Cardinals are on the clock. Quote

Unless you conducted a poll on the question you literally have no way of knowing that. Gibbs has been more productive in Ben Johnson's system. That's a fact. I'll give you that. But in terms of skill and what they are capable of, I would say it's much closer that what numbers show. That can be your opinion and that's cool. But it doesn't make it fact. The question is whether any GM would take Robinson over Gibbs now, not two years ago. I stand by my assertion. Gibbs is far more explosive and more of a threat in the passing game. Robinson is a good back, but he doesn’t present nearly the same problems for a defense that Gibbs does. Quote
H2o Posted Friday at 10:50 AM Posted Friday at 10:50 AM With the 16th pick....in the 2025 NFL Draft....the Arizona Cardinals select Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon We signed the ageless wonder Calais Campbell in FA, but the interior DL still needs work. And who better to teach a young, explosive defender like Harmon the tricks of the trade. Generating 43 pressures from the interior is insane, but that is what Harmon did. He has an excellent first step, uses his hands well, and will cross on an OL'man to get into the backfield to disrupt plays in an instant. Purdy, Darnold, Stafford, Derrick Harmon is coming for you. @Logic and the Bengals are on the clock. 1 Quote
