My Uncle and Aunt were very big in the Judo community. My uncle when he passed had 8 black bets in Judo. One of his students has 3 black belts himself, and he teaches Judo at UB. So I gave it a go. Lasted 3 weeks and I'm like, Nope. I'm good.

I am scared of all wildlife in Australia and they are something I'm likely to never see.  I cannot be on a plane for 22 hours.

During college our now DIL flew to Australia for some program. The man sitting next to her on that very long flight was very quiet, for a very long time. She doesn’t like to talk about it so I avoid the tropic, but what do they do if somebody dies on a flight like that? I don’t think the path to Australia leaves you as many quick options as you’d like. Do you put him in a bathroom??? You can’t just leave him there!!! Imagine the commotion!

I suck pretty aggressively at bowling.

 

The golf/baseball transition was hard for me as a kid season to season as others have pointed out.  I could do one or the other pretty well, but not both at the same time.

Then you'd hate the hell outa me I guess? Back in the olden days of school in the mid 60's our gym instructor made everybody climb the ropes and the poles all the way to the top and touch the metal hanger up there before they could come back down. At the end of the week he'd hold races that I always won because I'd just go hand over hand all the way up and never used my feet. I could get all the way to the top, touch the metal hanger and be back down on the mat before almost all of the other guys got to the top.

 

NOTE: I'm not bragging here... that's pretty much the only "great" accomplishment I ever made in gym class during junior & senior high school :)

In gym class at Casey Middle they had us swim (naked, but that’s another story) the length of the pool underwater. Some of the kids couldn’t hold their breath long enough, while some made it the whole length of the pool. I got to the other end, then turned around and went all the way back, still holding by breath. If only I could have made that work for me in some way…..  🤷‍♂️

Pretty much all of them. The only sport I thought I played well enough was hockey goalie, and that was only up to competitive beer league. And these days, pickleball. I'm pretty good at that.

Pickleball makes such an ugly sound it pollutes the park that I go to. I’m glad you enjoy it and all that, but what an obnoxious noise that is to a tennis player.
