strive_for_five_guy Posted Wednesday at 01:16 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:16 AM Maybe Myles Garrett can lure him to Cleveland? Heard they have something special brewing there. 1 5 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted Wednesday at 01:23 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:23 AM Seems like Bills are his top choice he brought them up first unprompted get it done! Great veteran option for a year or 2 1 1 Quote

aristocrat Posted Wednesday at 01:35 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:35 AM One year deal for 7.5 mil last year so not that insane of a deal. Throw a void year and we don’t have to draft a safety this year 4 1 Quote
billsfan89 Posted Wednesday at 01:36 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:36 AM I think the Bills are "set" at safety after they add a mid-round pick there. I think Hamlin adds depth while Forrest is their competition for Rapp/Cole. I think they will add a mid-rounder for depth/development given that Hamlin and Forrest are on one year deals. 1 1 1 1 Quote

Could not disagree more. Safety might be their weakest position group. This is the guy they should have paid for instead of Bosa. Maybe they can make it work somehow. Would love this for the secondary. Edited Wednesday at 01:40 AM by QB Bills 1 2 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted Wednesday at 01:48 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:48 AM I don’t expect us to…but would love to sign him before the draft 2 years 12 mil toss a void year on 5 1 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted Wednesday at 01:52 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:52 AM (edited) Everyone who's floating out there right now are in limbo. The league is on to the Draft. That's why you're hearing so much "i'd love to play for" so and so lately. They're getting stir crazy. Simmons will get a starting role somewhere post-Draft from someone who's board didn't fall right at Safety. Doubtful that will be us. We're bringing back everyone from last season and a Diamond in the Rough type in Forrest. We'll probably Draft someone somewhere and they'll be set in their eyes. They could have had him last year if they wanted and passed. I'd be surprised if they wanted him now at 32 years old. Edited Wednesday at 01:56 AM by BillsFanForever19 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted Wednesday at 01:56 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:56 AM ^ awesome. As usual.🙄😂 Sign him this week. Quote
TheWeatherMan Posted Wednesday at 02:00 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:00 AM Makes too much sense…so it won’t happen. We need more former Panthers 1 2 Quote
Fan in Chicago Posted Wednesday at 02:11 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:11 AM I have been wondering why he hasn't been picked up by any team yet. And while we are talking of DBs, Asante Samuel Jr and Gilmore are still available too. 1 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted Wednesday at 02:11 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:11 AM For those that give any credence to PFF he had an overall grade of 59.9 which was 113th out of 171 qualified safeties. I'd be shocked if he's on the Bills radar. Just now, Fan in Chicago said: I have been wondering why he hasn't been picked up by any team yet. It's not that unusual for veteran free agents will hold out until after the draft as teams look to patch up holes on their roster they failed to address in the draft. 3 Quote

Yeah but in reverse, if the Bills thought any of them can play competently for a year, then their hand is less forced during the draft. I am not looking for long term solutions, just a 1 year rental. Also allows us to groom any DB drafted this year. Quote
somnus00 Posted Wednesday at 02:23 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:23 AM Let me guess... he wants to play for a winner. Quote

I hear what you're saying but Simmons was sitting their for the taking last year as a free agent all the way until mid August before signing with the Falcons. There were no reports the Bills were interested so I don't see why they would be now. 1 Quote
