I gotta give shout out to Derrick Burroughs who was great until that damn injury cut his career short. I remember him getting torched his first couple of seasons but he became fantastic for us afterwards.

Bob James.  If only medical technology was 40 years further along when he tore a knee ligament cause in the 70's it was almost a sure career-ender

I agree completely!

He wasn't half the CB that Vontae Davis was.

….but he was a fine “punt catcher”, that Chris Watson was…..

True but Watson was inarguably the best punt catcher in Buffalo Bills history.

I’ve seen them all.  I’d say Robert James.  Here’s my top 5:

Robert James

Tre White

Nate Clements

Nate Odoms

Booker Egerson

Bingo across the board and in order!

Posted (edited)

1) Butch Byrd (and it isn't close)

2) Charles Romes

3) Terrence McGee

4) Nate Odomes

5) Robert James

Honorable mentions: Tre White, Mario Clark, Nate Clements, Booker Edgerson

Stephon Gilmore

This is the correct answer.

2019 Defensive Player of the Year.

7 Cornerbacks have ever won that award. Ever. Total.

He might not have had all his best years on the Bills, but he's the best corner.

Edit: LOL at all of the lists that don't have him in the top 5. Cmon.

He isn't even close to the top 5 in Bills history. He simply did not have much of an impact here. He went to other teams and had his impact. He is not a top 5 Bills corner, plain and simple.

He was massively underrated here though

People called him a bum consistently throughout his career but I always was clamoring that Gilmore was a All-Pro on a bad team

One great corner doesn't make or break a team but he wasn't the reason we were bad.. I certainly did think he was a top corner even with the bills who got a bad rep

Like I'm not putting a rank on him one through five but he was a stud here.. he played with a club.. people used to question his toughness and he played with a broken hand lol
