BuffaloBillyG Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Would be great to lock him down for another 3 or 4 years. Has been one of the better FA signings we have had over the years. His ability to play G or C at a high level is helpful especially if SVGP develops into a starter at C. Good problem to have 5 6 Quote

Doc Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Does this signal that they don't view SVPG as the future at center? 1 Quote

I'd think not, they have always had a back up at the center position on the team and given Kromer's experience one might think that they are getting him ready like McGovern to play to play multiple positions going forward and incase of injury he would be a great depth player to have around . 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I'm guessing for a center you can extend him for around three years $36m? Quote
njbuff Posted April 8 Posted April 8 The Bills might actually have 9 OLmen that can start in this league. That’s pretty damn good and the 2nd reason the Bills can win the SB in 2025. 8 4 1 Quote

And McGovern is one of those players, just like Morse, who may be cut free a year or two before his career is done. So if he gets an extension this year, I'd guess that he doesn't play out the full contract with the Bills. 2 2 Quote

Depth, sure. I'm talking starting center. And from what I've gathered, SVPG can basically just play center in the NFL. But I suppose they could still view him as the future there and would be happy with McGovern playing LG. 1 Quote

That’s what they’re trying to do and this draft should get them an immediate contributor or two on D. The Bills D only needs to make a few stops here and there to get it done. Will that happen? We shall see. 4 Quote

We have had to many disappointing performances by the defense over the years in the playoffs. Let's hope that changes in 2025. Quote

Just my opinion…… but, I think they can hit a home run with a DT pick in the first round with it being Grant, Williams or Harmon. 1 Quote
