BringBackFergy Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I could see Joe Schoen trading down slightly from Pick #3, maybe down the the 8 - 11 spot, get some nice draft capital to acquire more players and take Ashton Jeanty at the 8 - 11 spot. They're kicking themselves for letting Saquon walk last year. This gives them a generational talent at RB and more draft capital to move back up and take a rookie QB to develop if they desire. TheBeaneBandit Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I mean nothing is impossible but also it seems he's a lock to get taken by the Raiders at 6. Quote
Gregg Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Rich Cimini who covers the Jets is saying they are open to trading Hall if Jeanty is there at #7. Quote

JMO There are two blue chip prospects in this draft, three if you want to include Ward (though I wouldn’t). Cleveland and the Giants are going to draft them unless a team gets crazy with their trade offer. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I’ve been saying once you get beyond Hunter/Carter…..Jeanty is probably the next best player and combine that with a very weak top of class and the return of the RB per say and it wouldn’t surprise me if either the Pats/ Jags pull the trigger and Hampton also goes top 10 1 Quote

JMO It would be so Giants to pass on QBs for RBs in the top 10 for the second time in 7 years and wonder why they suck so bad. 2 1 2 1 Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I would go QB, maybe take a shot at Sanders if he's there. Wilson is only there for 1 year. 1 1 1 Quote

Logic Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I think the Giants are locked on to either Carter or Hunter, whichever is there when they pick. 9 minutes ago, GunnerBill said: Yea obviously DE and CB/WR have higher position tariffs and so they do have that separation but Jeanty is a stud prospect. If you could just please not say "tariffs" right now, that would be splendid. 5 1 Quote

JMO Highly doubt it considering it would only bring up Schoen & company's utter dismal failure of retaining Saquon Barkley only to go to fellow conference competitor and turn into Offensive player of the years and a Super Bowl Champion. DrDawkinstein Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Letting highly drafted RBs walk just to immediately use more high draft resources on replacing said RB is definitely something loser teams (Jets/Giants) would do. Hint, hint 2 1 Quote

Both Sanders in New York would be must see TV. Even though I am not a big Sanders fan (he has limited size and arm strength), he is accurate and would be a big fan draw.
