You could NOT help yourself and give a Ditka of a response eh?

I find Ditka is a perfect answer for most questions...

Who could beat Superman in a fight?

Who's the greatest coach of all time?

Who did you lose your virginity to?

Or a Ditka trade LOL

lol the gift that kept giving!

 2004 me and my friends fantasy football league , very competitive.  My buddy Steve is a Dolphins fan.  It was a keeper league.  He kept Ricky Williams.  Ricky had big seasons in 2002 and 2003. We had our fantasy draft.  Steve was counting on Ricky big in fantasy football and because he’s a Dolphins fan.

A couple days after our draft, and days before opening day, Ricky retires, moves to Australia, does Yoga and smokes Weed.  The Dolphins, and the world are stunned.  Earth shattering to the Dolphins 😂

I call Steve- did you hear about Ricky?” No, what? He quit on the Dolphins, so he can smoke weed and do yoga! 😂 “. “***** ***** *****!”  Ricky retiring sunk the Dolphins, and Steve’s Fantasy Football team.  Double whammy!  😂

First Retirement (2004):

Williams announced his retirement in 2004, just days before the start of the Dolphins' training camp. He had a successful 2002 and 2003 season with the Dolphins.

Reasons for Retirement:

Williams stated that he retired due to a combination of factors, including a desire to find himself, feeling his athletic ability was declining, and the poor play of the Dolphins' quarterbacks. He also mentioned the over-reliance on him by the Dolphins.

Ricky Williams does not conform to America's definition of the modern athlete. In 2004, with rumors of another positive marijuana test looming, the Miami Dolphins running back traded adulation and a mansion in South Florida for anonymity and a seven dollars a night tent in Australia. His decision created a media frenzy that dismantled his reputation and branded him as America's Pothead. But while most in the media thought Williams was ruining his life by leaving football, Ricky thought he was saving it.

Run Ricky Run is an excellent 30 for 30 episode.  Ricky seemed so chill and relaxed, and logical

If you have four 2nd round picks, you’re probably getting guys who belong in the 2nd round 3/4ths the time, at best. Factor in Beane. I’m not sure what to think of Beane having more R2 picks, or even R1 picks. He’ll pick some average 2nd rounders.. and maybe a good one?

I’d like us to trade #30 and #62 to go as high as we can to take Kenneth Grant. Say what you want but he’d fix our DL.

Grant's been trending down in mocks. He could make it to 30 and even if he doesn't there's Tyleik and Collins and West and more. Unless it's a small move for a Harmon if he should make it to 25 or 26, nah. Certainly not worth spending a 1 and a 2.

I love Tyleik Williams if Kenneth Grant and Derrick Harmon are gone. Either of the three would be excellent. I think Grant has Marcell Dareus type of potential.

That's funny in this thread because Dareus had Ricky Williams type of potential.

There are options if Grant doesn't line up.

 Trading a lil bit never hurt no one.

Just get me a Beast who owns the middle of that line of scrimmage and I will stfu  😉

For a draft with very few first round talent grades, I would be fine with this.

However, I’m also fine with trading a 2nd and 1st to move up for a defensive game wrecker.

Do you have anyone in mind?

He really kind of is... like there is no doubt he walks to the beat of his own drum... but he likes his drum and he doesnt care if you dont LOL...  I just dont think the average person can fathom who would walk away from millions and millions and all of the adulation... but I guess he was never about money and is quite introverted.. so he is happy .... good for him.

Should I do the work and actually attach names to a Bills 2025 Draft of four 2nd round picks and whatever is left late after the trades needed to obtain four 2nd round picks?

If you push me, I will do it.

I work well under pressure.

Using this ==>. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp

Our two 2nd round picks => 56th = 340 points and 62nd = 284 points

Our 1st round pick => 30th = 620 points

Our two 4th round picks => 109th = 76 points and 132nd = 40 points

Our three 6th round picks => 169th = 23.8 points and 170th = 23.4 points and 173rd = 22.2 points`

Total points available to attempt to trade for four 2nd round picks = 1,429.4 points

2nd round picks range from 580 points (33rd) to 270 points (270th)

Therefore we certainly have the resources to obtain four 2nd round picks assuming we find willing trade partners.

Bad idea because this draft sucks, or at least it appears that way. If anything perhaps we can trade back into 2026 in some way.

win now Bill. Not the offseason to develop players from the first two rounds.

There are enough impact players at key positions Bills could have access to in those rounds. I might imagine two locks on defense if Beane plays his cards well.

BTW I am not one for trading to 20 in the first. But twenty 7 ? I am going to look hard at that.  (of course those are subjective picks )

 Rather add another early second and haul in three starters.
