BTW, Trump's handling of covid caused thousands and thousands of people their lives Anything that Trump did was under the advice of "The Science" that Fauci gave him which was for the most part BS we now know and told him or advised him what he should do . Remember who was the head scientist and was on TV every single night DIP S**T ? Oh and wasn't it the democrat Cuomo that ordered all of those elderly people that were infected, the most vulnerable age group of people with the virus back in to their nursing homes where all of those that weren't infected were to ultimately infect and kill them folks ? How soon we forget !! Then if Fauci wouldn't have asked for the money and made the money available to the lab in Wuhan & then lied about it none of this would have been able to be pinned on anyone in this country in the first place . I was born at night but not last night, so take your lame a** excuses and try to pass it off on some one that will drink the Kool aid because I'm not thirsty !! 1 1
Buffalo Bills Fan Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Funding the Taliban sounds like corruption. Why is Democrats paying for these monsters who hurt people (Taliban)? 1

The problem for a lot of posters here is they couldn't see that because they're so emotionally invested in wanting to see Trump fail that they were blind to it. Rather they were hoping and praying for more carnage. Today's pause was greeted with the expected hostility. Foiling their dream of the demise of Trump or perhaps delaying it? We shall see.

If it weren't paused it would have been a HORRIBLE time to buy. The policy makers aren't supposed to be leaking buy/sell times and information. Imagine if Fed chairman Powell tweeted, "good time to buy" 15 minutes before he announced a half point cut. LOL Edit: maybe you didn't realize, but DJT wasn't him signing the tweet, that's the stock symbol for his company. It's insider trading as clear as day. Edited April 9 by daz28
Andy1 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) If Obama, Biden or Harris had pulled this stunt, tweeting it’s a great time to buy, before announcing the 90 day pause, MAGA media and the Republican Party would be screaming for impeachment due to market manipulation. They would be launching immediate investigations to find the insider trading. With Trump, the cult members are all happy with it….nothing to see here. Edited April 10 by Andy1 1

I think it’s important to consider the trajectory of the posters in question. Lots of hot takes, mostly misses. 2

We shall see. that's easy to say in retrospect. NC and catturd were posting pics of trumps leaking ear and pronouncing he'd never surrender...churchill like. except churchill was amazing. trump is a buffoon.
Andy1 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 No public policy, based upon goals to achieve for the betterment of America, to determine exemptions from tariffs going forward - just whatever he wants to do. Smells like corruption to me. 1 1

I'd be stunned if insiders - including the Trump kin - aren't trading on this. That's what happens when you let one man have such power over the markets. Maybe those drafters of the constitution knew what they were doing when the expressly assigned the tariff power to Congress and only Congress. 1 1
