For this poll, we tried to focus on players and positions that the Bills are most likely to draft at this slot, from a consensus of draft rankings and Mock Draft ADPs.

Poll will close at ***2***pm on 4/5/25.

The eligible players are based upon those who were not already selected in the TSW 1.0 Mock draft linked below:

We went heavy on DL and EDGE because frankly there's a lot of them clustered around this draft position, and both are among the Bills top needs.

Considered, but not making the final cut for the poll:

DT:

Deone Walker  Kentucky

EDGE:

Kyle Kennard  South Carolina

Josaiah Stewart  Michigan

Jordan Burch  Oregon

CB:

Darien Porter  Iowa State

WR:

Tre Harris  Ole Miss

Jalen Royals  Utah State

Savion Williams  TCU

RB:

Cam Skattebo  Arizona State

Kaleb Johnson  Iowa

TE:

Elijah Arroyo  Miami

Mason Taylor  LSU

OT:

Ozzy Trapilo  BC

G/C:

Jared Wilson  Georgia

If there are any oversights let me know! If a write-in is gaining momentum, we can add to the poll.

This feels like it would be Landon Jackson but I didn’t see him. The Bills clearly like him. It’s a tough spot because some of the big run stuffers are off the board. I don’t want to reach for need again. I voted Watts because I think he could be like Poyer or Hyde. I like his game a lot and it’s an important part of the defense. I don’t think Bishop is good so Watts is an upgrade. If Bishop is the guy that they think Watts and Bishop is the new Hyde and Poyer. If not, Rapp is serviceable and can play with him and keep Bishop as the 3rd.

Not a big fan of this selection of players in general. Watts sticks out as BPA but I question if Beane will take a 2nd round safety in consecutive years. We've met with Farmer a few times but this feels too high for him.

In the interest of predicting what I think Beane would do instead of going with my own preference, I voted Tuimoloau. He seems like our type of EDGE. Hand in the ground, prototypical size and length, high motor. Personally I don't get excited at all by his athletic profile so I think his ceiling is pretty limited. But it fills a need and the profile fits what we ask our EDGEs to do.

Jackson went mid round 1 I believe

Yea Watts is the best player on the list. 13 picks over the last two years. Good player and only Safety signed through next year is Bishop I believe

Honestly the player that most sticks out to me on the board I'm using is Darien Porter... But we already took a CB in the 1st round so I understand leaving him out of consideration.

I wouldn't be happy, but that should solidify our secondary for a few years.

Yeah I just think the regime feels like the safety room is complete, whether the fans agree or not. We always keep 4 safeties and Forrest, Bishop, Rapp, and Hamlin will likely be that group IMO. Maybe if Starks falls to 30 they'll take him and he'll replace Hamlin on the roster but beyond that I don't expect anything other than a late round depth addition. Beane always hunts for immediate needs in round 2.

I think it comes down to, there's an awful lot of Edge and DT left on the board. The Bills are up again in just 6 picks, and unless you're excluding him for the Hyde-like 4.55 40-yard time, Watts is a hand-in-glove fit for the ball-hawking deep-half safety the Bills haven't had on the roster since Hyde left. If the Bills weren't picking again till 109 I might think of doing something different but on this board I think I gotta draft Watts here and hope my favorite defensive lineman (and I do have one) is there at 62.

This one is a really tough call and I'm still noodling... there's four or five guys I'd be pleased with on that list.

The Epenesa type or the Basham type?

I sort of feel like we are at the all in stage here and I expect us to package this with 1 to go up and take 1 big time player. Wr are the last team that needs 8-10 guys in a draft. Most of them won’t even get a sniff at the roster. It’s a waste. I think we use this and 30 to shoot up into the top 15

Honestly I can see some shades of Basham in Tuimoloau. Like I said it's not what I would do... But I feel pretty keyed in to how Beane operates.

If JT or Sawyer gets the selection over Swinson I’m gonna puke

Almost went Swinson and think @gonzo1105had him in his latest mock at this spot IIRC

He’s the best Edge left by far imo

I think the way this draft class is stacked, this would be the wrong approach. Beyond the top 10 guys there is a ton of variability among who the next 50-60 guys are.

I feel like I’d rather have more shots at landing a pick in these ranges.

Considering how this draft fell, I think drafting Nolan would’ve been the best move.  I’d rather have Nolan or Burden paired with Porter than Amos and the current options.  I’m a huge fan of Amos-  but Porter could be a force in our scheme if he can figure things out.

Swinson or Landon Jackson would be my pick here.  Farmer being the best need pick.

edit: as an admitted RB homer- Judkins would be good value at this part of the draft if we planned on moving on from Cook.

Tuimoloau is going to need some development, he's certainly more physically gifted than Boogie, but I'm wondering if the Bills aren't thinking in terms of a Jordan Burch or Saivion Jones perhaps making it to 109 or at least to an area where they can pop up a few slots rather than getting the power DE here. At this point all of these prospects have questions to them and an ability to bust or hit.
