This is Trump's nominee for the top legal job at the EPA, overseeing nearly 200 lawyers. A man who spent just 1.5 years practicing law at Phillips Lytle in Buffalo before being let go.

The ultimate WEI hire.

Can't really do any worse than the NUM NUTS that have been running the EPA for years ! Dupont only got charged $16 million for infecting the entire planet with the chemical C8 when they brought out Teflon and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it caused birth defects & cancer but produced it any way ! Then after the law suit and pay out they sold the rights to a company that is now making the exact same chemical under a different name Gen X  in NC .

Then Monsanto, or as I would rather call it Monsatan, the makers of agent orange which was used in Vietnam still make round up which has been banned in a bunch of European countries and is now in the American aquifer and has been found in wines in the bottles out in California . A chemical known to cause cancer and has killed many Americans one of which was a family member of mine, yet those EPA lawyers of the past do or say nothing about that.

WHY because of PROFIT !! The American way ...

You think it could be because of back door monies in the gov't  🤔  NAH it couldn't be . So put someone incompetent in a position that has been incompetent for years but it's Trump so then there's that !

Carry on Roundy ...

Somehow you seem to think that Trump's EPA will be tougher on industrial polluters than Biden's EPA.

i understand your concerns, but in reality we've gone from fairly lax enforcement to no enforcement at all.

Should someone tell Homelander that not every random thought deserves it's own thread?

This one deserved its own thread. We're used to political hack appointments, but this is one who is objectively simply unqualified.

He's already made a fool out of himself defending the indefensible. He better stick it out because I can't see him getting another prominent post anywhere. And he's too bland for Fox News or his own podcast.

Trump 1.0 had 14 cabinet members resign or be dismissed. What's the over/under for his second term?

Good question. It's so full of sycophants that they may be able to stick around longer than you think.

Still, Trump always needs a fall guy, so let the firings begin. I think Bessent will be gone. He had a decent academic/investment banking career and all that's left of that is being a pariah in those two communities.

He may think the only way to salvage anything is to quit and come out against tariffs.

True, but even slapping lipstick on a pig only works for so long.

Please explain to me where by me saying  "it can't be any worse than whoever has been running it" that makes you think that I "Seem to think" that Trumps EPA appointment is going to be tougher ?

In all actuality by me saying what has happened in the past and that it can't be any worse IMHO I would think that that would mean in a lot of ways it will probably stay the same .

But yes there isn't any real enforcement from the EPA and I believe it to be because of greed and back door payments ...

As long as someone does the same to Big Blitz and BillsFanNC?

Yeah, but roundheads threads are stupid political trolling.

No real surprise here is there, most all of those that quit were more than likely aligned with the previous administration no matter what side of the isle they were on, TDS doesn't discriminate .

Who appoints cabinet members?

TDS doesn’t discriminate neither does ignorance.
