I didn't see you here crying about Biden though, why come here and cry about Trump? 1

Delete_Delete_Delete Posted yesterday at 06:01 PM Posted yesterday at 06:01 PM I’m not sure what anybody expected from a guy who took his playbook for his first 60 days in office straight out of the 1995 locally filmed classic “Canadian Bacon”… 1

Most of us on the left (not some of the extreme lefties on here) know that Biden was a failure. But when will you get past your BDS, you can see what Trump is doing is disaster for the economy. Will some countries back down and lower their tarrifs? Sure. And I’m thrilled my next t-shirt I buy that was made in Bangladesh will stay at the same price, but these sweeping actions by your king are hurting your base much more than the left since apparently paying $7 for eggs was a back breaker for many of the uneducated minimum wage MAGAs. This will ruin them. "When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on day one." Donald J Trump, Aug 2024. Without mentioning Sleepy joe (who in my opinion was the third worst president of all time) use your big boy words to explain how this is “winning” and keeping his promises. First, storming around calling people “dolts” is silly and makes you appear small-minded. Second, kudos to you for recognizing Biden as a failure. One could certainly argue rather persuasively that the 80m +\- that voted to put him office, and those that supported the crap festival that was his admin—and where he was in/out/in before Harris was anointed to lead actually lead us directly to this point in time. Enough people wanted a change to the status quo that what happened, happened. Maybe a few less doors kicked in might have reduced the number of disillusioned voters on your side and in the middle. Third….401ks “tanking”. One thing I’m certain of, the markets march on, always. True, they are often driven by emotion and/or the desire for big players to make money, often feasting on the emotion of people thinking their 401k is “tanking” over a very short period of time in the grand scheme of things. At this point in time, the DJIA has tanked all the way back to a level not seen in forever—-or at least 9/11/24. The S&P 500 index has not been this low since….9/5/24 using real time data. At the time, the balances held in a well-diversified portfolio built over a number of years and decades looked pretty good as I recall. Time, commitment and dedication to the long haul seems to matter most if success is the ultimate goal. As for Trump and “winning”, the ultimate determination of wins and losses remains to be seen and is best viewed through the prism of time. I’m comfortable waiting, recognizing that people will be running around like “their heads are on fire and asses- a’catchin” as they always do. Best to ignore them. In closing—you might be right when the benefit of hindsight is in play. On the other hand, you might be wrong. 1 2

It jacked up prices 20 - 30 plus percent in a matter of 2 years (ignored by Team Covid). It jacked up the debt. It jacked up interest rates - indirectly The country has held off any new definitions of recession (layoffs have been happening for months going back to early last year)due to government spending. How many jobs “created” under Biden were private sector again? And that spending isn’t sustainable per mine and yours grocery bill and mortgage rates of the last 2 years. Which does not happen if we didn’t shut down the planet.

You’re free to evaluate everything today - it’s a great idea. I'll let you know if I agree or disagree with any of the policies - nothing at the moment has me as fake upset as the TDS folks. I’ll give you a better evaluation of it all by January of 2028. As of now, I understand why he’s doing what he’s doing. Even tho Wall Street doesn’t like it and the dead legacy media wants to present every parade of horrible like federal employees losing their jobs and cuts to federal spending as tho it’s an unmitigated disaster. Yea I’m not listening to the people that told me to stay 6 feet apart indefinitely. Your business be dammed. THANK YOU for that reply. Good perspective. Though I would argue that the true TDS people are not fake upset as they watch the stock market today. But a 24 hour snapshot is not something to base fear and loathing on. Appreciate your reply. 1

Biden wasn’t a disaster …some totally lame stuff but some quality legislation. Meek on the world stage …but didn’t leave a total mess. DT has created self inflicted damage that will a decade to repair…in 3 months. He’s got 45 more to go…And those hoping for a change in office? JDV is a complete fraud like DT ….with less skills 1

Great reply and I appreciate you taking the time to write this with some valid points and not resorting to name calling. To that point, as for me calling people dolts, I will say it is in direct response to being called a commie on every post. But perhaps I should take Michelle Obama’s approach (you know, the one the “dolts” like to claim is a man 😉) and go high.

Depends if you take the actual Michelle Obama approach, or the jazzy quotable quote Michelle Obama about getting high when someone else goes low. As for her being a man...I tried to steer clear of that as there were plenty of reasons to be anti-Obama-agenda and that one didn't really do it for me. On the subject of calling people dolts, honestly, I'd have confessed to being petty and small-minded myself from time to time had you mentioned it, but I needed a place to start and this was about you, not me. 🫡 1
