Milton played for 6 years in 2 Big time programs--amassing a total of 5300 yards 37 TDs in 43 games. He was backing up Shea Patterson (who??) at Michigan and Henden Hooker in Tennessee (one of whom made it onto a roster as a backup). Where's the upside? Size, mobility, arm-strength… Quote

I’m sure Josh got much better advice from Matt Barkley than Peterman Eh, Barkley was barely better than Peterman. Two of the worst qbs to play in a long time. i personally like the guy who can play in the league vet (Andy Dalton) or the upside guy. I hate our backups and we are blessed Allen is made of steel. 1 Quote

He’s a QB with all the tools and well worth a 5th rd pick. I would’ve traded a 4th for him if I were several teams. Including Buffalo (not that Ne would trade him to us imo) we’ve traded away less and received more Quote

Yes, once he would get any extended playing time, he will most likely be back to the way he looked at Michigan, and then at Tennessee. All the talent in the world and a rocket arm, but has no touch and little accuracy. Quote
Logic Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM (edited) I really wish the Bills had used one of this year's 2nds to trade up to the late teens LAST year to draft Brian Thomas Jr. I suppose if they do it this year and add an impact defender on the d-line, that'd be great. But... I can't help but feel like this team has been a little bit "day late and a dollar short" the past couple years when it comes to their early round draft picks. Next up: not taking a running back in this year's super deep running back class, then having to take one higher than advisable next year in a less impressive class because Cook doesn't get re-signed. Lol no Do I think he's an entertaining project who has an outside chance of sticking around? Maybe. And for the low low cost he's locked in for, what are you getting better for in 5th rounder? The best thing that could possibly happen is for Maye to middle of the road starter for 10 years and Joe Milton to be a super star. The 5th round pick gets cut in camp Quote
machine gun kelly Posted yesterday at 08:19 PM Posted yesterday at 08:19 PM Milton showed flashes, but he’s basically traded to be a backup as Dak isn’t going anywhere. I’m happy for Milton, other than he’s in the circus of Jerrah World. Maybe Dak can help his development. Honestly, I don’t care. The Cheats are placing a lot of faith in Maye to have an even lesser backup. Quote

Did Milton and Maye not get along? Milton wanted a chance to start but I agree bad compensation back to New England. 37 minutes ago, Logic said: I really wish the Bills had used one of this year's 2nds to trade up to the late teens LAST year to draft Brian Thomas Jr. I suppose if they do it this year and add an impact defender on the d-line, that'd be great. Guess what? Thomas would not have produced at same level here in Buffalo and you'd be whining that gave up a 2nd rounder in a WR that got 750-800 yards receiving. Quote
Mister Defense Posted yesterday at 08:39 PM Posted yesterday at 08:39 PM Wow, just shocked that the girls made a good, maybe great move, with almost no risk. And that New England made an apparently very bad one. So Milton clearly did not look like he did against our backups when he was practicing with New England! If he did, then a comically bad move, as there are so many teams that need a high quality starter this year and next. Really looking forward to seeing how this works out, how he looks in the preseason. Dak, a good guy, will never lead them to a championship and will likely never come close. So what happens if Milton looks like he did against the Bills with the cowgirls in the preseason? Quote

Imagine what Ryan Clark would be saying after a Maye INT 😂? Maye is clearly the better QB and NE has a star on their hands and don’t need distractions. Smart move by NE. Quote
