I think he wins it in training camp. I hope so. Ingram had some brilliant moments last season. Picking off Tua twice and running one back for a TD was an amazing performance. One of my favorites was the Cardinals game. Arizona had the ball 4th & 7 on Buffalo’s 30 while down 6 points w/ 2 TOs and 0:32 left. Murray lobbed a perfectly placed pass to Dorch up the sideline which Ingram broke up beautifully to seal the game. Perfect coverage matching every single step while also not doing anything that could draw a flag. It’s a moment Buffalo fans always half-expect to get kicked in the balls. Also, no one wants to lose the season opener. Edited Saturday at 07:21 PM by ChronicAndKnuckles 2 Quote

I have my doubts that a rookie CB would be more effective in the first year in our defense, so I am all for re-signing Douglas. I also don't think that Dane Jackson should be considered as a legitimate option for CB2. Hopefully, last year was an aberration for RD and he will have a better year, but I also understand that the inevitable decline due to age and other factors may have happened with him last season. Might as well bring him in. too much decline/production to be an age thing Quote

Looked like one to me on the initial watch and I don’t think I ever really watched it in detail. There wasn’t any contact before the ball arrived huh? Quote

Reports were he was always trying to learn and get better and as a first round pick he should have had the talent. Did Elam really struggle that much to get this defense? I think the talent is there Confidence is one of the biggest things at corner... He started getting out played instantly by a sixth round pick in Benford Couldn't adjust to the on the fly coverages that McDermott asks of and he never got the confidence to play with his abilities Basically probably shot 1 Quote

Take a poll to see how many on the TBD would be content seeing Ingram as our starting CB2 on opening day. You may very well find yourself alone on this island. Maybe I'm wrong, but of course it's JMHO... I don't mind being alone. But I don't think you're right about that anyway. Here's a link to the poll to see if I'm right or BillsBackto81whatever is right Quote
Bills!Win! Posted Sunday at 02:01 PM Posted Sunday at 02:01 PM If I had to have a choice between the two I’d pick Cooper over Douglas 1 Quote
BillsFooteball Posted Sunday at 05:21 PM Posted Sunday at 05:21 PM Both main points from this post are true. Douglas was really bad last year. If bills bring him back to be CB2 that doesn’t bring confidence and joy to folks here. How things stand today (I think before season start draft or veteran cut and signed will solve this) Douglas > Jackson. Dane Jackson as CB4, fine. I would cringe even as first option off the bench as outside replacement and there’s no way in hell he can start as CB2 this season. Quote

No. He was a middle of the road boundary corner. The rest of your analysis is spot on. Quote

If you do hold any stock in PFF value then I’m actually being generous. Was ranked the 122nd CB, no picks, 123.7 passer rating when targeted. Don’t think I would put that in the middle of round boundary corner. As noted though absolutely would want him over Dane Jackson Quote
