I say build a beast of a DL like Philly. Nolen and then two 1-tech's like Williams, Collins, or Caldwell.

Unless something changes on this roster, they are drafting a corner in the first round. Anyone who thinks any differently are likely lying to themselves. It’s a massive need and Beane seems to leave one huge position of need for the draft every year. It’s been his MO. Convincing ourselves that he drafts BPA is just not true. Now which corner it is, who knows…but it’s going to be a corner imo and Amos fits what they look for.

This draft needs to be about the D-Line. Enough wasting high draft picks on cornerbacks. Go sign a vet cb or 2. The Bills have been wasting first rd picks on cb's since I can remember. We need a big fat slob at Dt to stop the run and provide the collapse of the pocket from the  inside.  You can draft all the corners you want, they cant cover for more than 4 seconds no matter who they are. So get to the Qb, stop the run. Its a simple game. A great front 7 makes your db's look way better than they are.

Big fat slobs are for Day 3. There's a reason skill positions are called skill positions - not everyone can do it.

Ive been watching the Bills draft corner after corner, I havent been watching the Bills win a Lombardi doing it. Maybe I'm biased due to the correlation I see.

I think you are far more likely to hit on a legit CB 2 or better after round 3 than a legit starting DT.

That said - if say 5 DTs are off the board and we think a CB 1/2 or even WR 1/2 is there that we feel confident is a starter I wouldn’t hate it.

Trade up and round 2 and get a DT might be necessary tho.  Maybe get like the DT 7 or 8 hope he hits.

Biggins are going to go in this draft.

Why are there only two players listed in the poll??

I am very confused at this, why 2 players out of many many options and the point-?

The initial poll cast a wider net, and has since been whittled down a couple of times.

Amos just makes so much sense to me here. I know it’s smokescreen season but after hearing McBeane comment on DTs I think they’re looking for a complimentary skill set to Oliver. Those guys are likely to be had at 56 or 62.

Id rather take the player who will likely get 100% of snaps as CB2 who fits what I want to do than a rotational guy who mirrors what we already have in Oliver.

I might have gone with Ezeiruaka if he had been an option.  I think he is still on the board.  I did go with Amos.  I can see teams bulldozing the Bills in the run game if they try to line Ed Oliver up with Nolen on the Bills interior line.  Oliver is going to be the DT3 on a majority of snaps.  They have to get a guy who is big enough and physical enough to tie up blockers.  I just don't see Nolen being that guy.

He is a ln awesome DT. But if we draft him isn’t he just playing Ed Olivers spot at 3 Tech? We have enough 3 Techs on this roster already.

I realize he’s considered more of a 3 but they say he has room to grow. I would like to see him in our d line rotation. The guy isn’t exactly helpless vs the run.
