Ralonzo Posted yesterday at 09:55 PM Posted yesterday at 09:55 PM I like Hairston, he ticks every box except tackling and availability. But he is fast as anyone on a given field, high character, leader, McD would love him... if only he could tackle without breaking himself. Quote
No_Matter_What Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM (edited) I wonder how many of you (even from ones who voted for him) would be underwhelmed if we ended up with Amos in real draft. And I also wonder how many of you (again including those who voted for him) would say that Beane has reached for need over BPA. (I am not trying to be ****, I just think that there would be very little excitement on these forums, just like after Elam or Coleman picks). Edited yesterday at 09:59 PM by No_Matter_What 1 Quote

I personally would take Hairston out of these options. But Ezeiruaku seems to fit what this regime prioritizes which is character and coachability. I would be a bit underwhelmed by that pick but it feels right. Yea if I was grading this by likely picks for this regime it is Ezeiruaku and Amos out on their own. My guess is if the draft has gone as it has here those two (and Scourton who I can see them liking a lot) are the standouts on the Bills board. 2 Quote
The Jokeman Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM Based on those listed I went with Amos but still banging a drum for NT Tyleik Williams. Quote

Thrilled with him at #31 or #32 and three Day-2 picks Quote

I'm in Albania for work... but of the guys listed on this poll I have two first round tape grades: Walter Nolen and Mike Green. I repeat if Green makes #30 I think there is no way he is on our board because it means the off field is very concerning. I'd love Nolen, but positional value wise it is hard to argue for a 3T DT when one of your best players is already a 3T DT. If we didn't have Ed I'd be majorly banging the drum for Nolen. After those two, of this list, by my board, it's Hariston just a smidge ahead of Amos but on pure Bills fit I'd flip that for scheme. I do have Princely and Nic Scourton above the corners though as well. They just aren't in this poll. Quote
Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted yesterday at 10:19 PM Posted yesterday at 10:19 PM Why isn't Kenneth Grant on the poll??? 23 minutes ago, Ralonzo said: I like Hairston, he ticks every box except tackling and availability. Big Blitz Posted yesterday at 10:22 PM Posted yesterday at 10:22 PM (edited) Run to the podium and take Nolen. Edited yesterday at 10:23 PM by Big Blitz 1 Quote

I will update the poll every few hours to remove the bottom 3 vote getters. If there is someone you feel is missing from the poll, please reply. Hell looks like ya can cut about 8 picks Quote

wppete Posted yesterday at 10:32 PM Posted yesterday at 10:32 PM (edited) Trey Amos reminds me of Kair Elam. Anyone else see it? Edited yesterday at 10:34 PM by wppete 2 Quote

If they draft Amos I’ll think they made a slight reach but addressed a need. I think I’d rather have Nolan from that list but the rumors of character issues scare me. Quote
DapperCam Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I voted Ezeiruaku because he had the coolest name. Quote
Bill from NYC Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Let's just draft any corner. Too bad we couldn't trade up for one!!!! Quote

I noticed you do not have him in the 1st round in your 2.0 Mock. Just a personal point of curiosity - where was Jihaad on your board? Would you have considered him for Buffalo at #30 had he made it? I think Edge is the greater roster need and positional value, but went Campbell based on his traits outweighing those other factors, I see him as a top-15 or top-20 OA, and I wasnt blown away at Scourton's combine, looked stiff to me. 1 Quote

The 1st highlight, the INT, he jumps the route and picks it off. I saw Elam do that. The 2nd highlight has Amos pressing a much bigger man, plastering him down the field and breaking up the pass. Elam is lucky if he gets his hands on the guy and probably ends up with cleat marks on his chest if he does. The one right after that, playing off and changing direction, flipping the hips a couple times, never saw Elam do that either. 1 Quote

Also Size, length and speed are similar. Quote
BlueRed Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) While TBDers zigged, I zagged with my choice. I believe with the tiers of DE and CBs we have in this draft there will be quality options for both positions with our round 2 and 4 picks. Also agree with others before that struggle with the positional value of a 1T DT in the first. I voted for OL Josh Connerly. Our oline has been surprisingly (and luckily) healthy the past 2 seasons and although a lot of people are excited about the potential depth in the pipeline, the truth is that they are unproven day 3 and undrafted prospects. If any of them had to start next year for an extended period of time I think it’d be rough. The bills in this scenario should make their strength (O-line) stronger with their round 1 pick and address defensive role players and snap takers in day 2/3. Edited 23 hours ago by BlueRed 1 Quote
