And yes I live in Canada yet I spend a fortune visiting the states every year with my family but who cares right? ***** asshat. He imposed tariffs in his first term. Biden even kept them in place. And you got behind a Trump 47 candidacy when anyone with an IQ north of 80 knew if elected you were getting Trump on steroids? And you'll keep visiting. And spending. Yes you will. Even though you're a friggin hoser asshat. 1 1

I know they're liberal sources, but by most accounts Trump will tell 15-20 lies per speech and told over 10,000 in his first term, which is one third of the reported total by these outlets. He focuses on the grand and exaggerated in all explanations. How is it possible to determine what he is actually being serious about? As an example you can't possibly believe the pro life? Yet, here we are. Edited 7 hours ago by Mikie2times 1

Oh there’s zero chance the habitual Twitter copy/paste troll responds to this. It’s YOU that is wrong for questioning it. No one knows what will happen, so just chill out while watching your 401k take a nose dive. He’s all bark, no content, and posts tweets that “oWn tHe LiBs” so his two lap dogs can give him the thumbs up reactions. It’s humiliating. He’s the running joke on this board and sadly is the only one who doesn’t know it. I’d also guess he’s under 5’9. Has a LOT of symptoms of little man syndrome. Guarantee he spent more time inside a locker than on a sports field in high school. 1 1 1

So I’ve seen how countries are starting to negotiate like Vietnam and Cambodia to remove tariffs so Nike shot up 4% today. Of course Vietnam and Cambodia can’t afford to buy anything material from the United States because it is a poor country… So again, what exactly is the point of all this ? 1

Even if you believed Tariffs won't result in permanently higher prices (as they have repeatedly throughout history)the way these were implemented are asinine. The vast majority of these countries are poor, making products that we will never make, and never will come close to purchasing goods the US is making. If you plan on building an empire in the US selling a product that somebody in Cambodia will buy, what the hell are you making? The fattest kid is not also going to be the one who sells the most food. 1 1

Even though you're a friggin hoser asshat. Is that why consumer spending is declining. Everyone is tweaked out. People dont worship a man over reality like you do. His tariffs were nothing like this last time. Nice lie. "The policy may very well fail" JD Vance. Hey nice experiment. It's just America. ‘We just haven’t seen anything like this’: Farmers brace for Trump’s trade war. “We have an example of what happened in the past, and it’s a very similar situation, except the farm economy at that time was much stronger than it is now,” said Caleb Ragland, president of the American Soybean Association and a Kentucky farmer. “We don’t have any margin for error. ...We’re going to lose a generation of young farmers.” Farmers have been Trump’s most loyal constituency and overwhelmingly backed him in the 2024 election. Now they could be one of the groups hardest hit by his trade war, potentially forcing a political reckoning in red states as small- and mid-sized farms struggle to stay afloat and big farms lose their export markets. “If we have problems selling those goods in foreign markets, we see low prices. That’s what we saw in 2018, and that was just a trade war in China. With the announcement yesterday, not only are the tariffs larger than those in 2018 on China but they’re also affecting a lot of other markets, particularly for soybeans,” said Joe Glauber, a former USDA chief economist. “These are all big unknowns because we just haven’t seen anything like this.”

Maybe you'll get someone to quote you periodically, but I doubt it will be enough to sustain you as it's quite obvious that you came back here to get my attention. Bye bye! 3

Wacka Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago CD rates were going down last summer. I renewed mine in September. I locked in 4% for 18 months. They said it was good timing as it was going down soon. The next week, they did go down. I was at the bank Tuesday, and I think they were 3.75%/ who was POTUS then? They said it was Joey but I have my doubts.
