I know they're liberal sources, but by most accounts Trump will tell 15-20 lies per speech and told over 10,000 in his first term, which is one third of the reported total by these outlets. He focuses on the grand and exaggerated in all explanations. How is it possible to determine what he is actually being serious about? As an example you can't possibly believe the pro life? Yet, here we are.

So I’ve seen how countries are starting to negotiate like Vietnam and Cambodia to remove tariffs so Nike shot up 4% today. 
 

Of course Vietnam and Cambodia can’t afford to buy anything material from the United States because it is a poor country…

 

So again, what exactly is the point of all this ?

Even if you believed Tariffs won't result in permanently higher prices (as they have repeatedly throughout history)the way these were implemented are asinine. The vast majority of these countries are poor, making products that we will never make, and never will come close to purchasing goods the US is making. If you plan on building an empire in the US selling a product that somebody in Cambodia will buy, what the hell are you making? The fattest kid is not also going to be the one who sells the most food.

CD rates were going down last summer. I renewed mine in September. I locked in 4% for 18 months. They said it was good timing as it was going down soon. The next week,they did go down.  I was at the bank Tuesday, and I think they were 3.75%/ who was POTUS then? They said it was Joey but I have my doubts.
