All those promised manufacturing jobs - ya know the ones drumpf lied to his constituents about … yesterday… gone! All those jobs, that would have taken a decade to actually exist 😂 … gone.

So this was never about “America first?”  I’m absolutely SHOCKED.

If they took a decade would it not be worth it?

Oh I’m sure folks who are in a financial situation where they need a manufacturing job will do just fine for 10 years … waiting.

No. Go to school. If you can't afford it, take out a loan (like everybody else does). Find a job that won't be replaced by machines and that requires enough skill that somebody in Vietnam can't do it. Let capitalism run it's course. Instead what we are hearing is, raise the price of all consumer goods to subsidize job creation for the lower/middle class. That sounds like an awful policy some idiot on the left would create and mind you, I even like some Bernie policies. How did we arrive at a place where the right is pro union and wants to use taxpayer money for lower class job creation? It's not that MAGA thinks WOKE policy should be canceled, instead they just want it to benefit them. MAGA is the new welfare class.

your TDS is creeping in..

So you proved your post touting one day of the stock market was wildly inconsistent with your past statements.  Then when confronted on it you claimed you were making fun of people.  You should run for office.

This is why I'm concerned of a recession under a Republican president.  We'd then have to have a leftist president come into office and exasperate the problem.  Just cut regulations, extend the tax cuts, secure the border, and let the free market work its magic.  It's not that hard.

Not a single MAGA will respond to this, other than with a weirdo right wing meme or an insult to you.

But this is an excellent post. Well done. 👍

How about instead of tax cuts, it's a tax credit if they actually use that money to, you know, start a business.  Giving the rich more money to invest in stocks does nothing but get more for the people that don't even need it.  It also does zero for the economy.

Un friggin believable.

TDS takes hold fast.

My post told you to thank Trump. Because Trump announcing the pause in tariffs specifically caused the market spike. Did it not?

My stance on short term market timing and the consternation it causes people like you has been consistent over years as you were shown.

Carry on though.

He could have just did the 125% on China and 10% across the board from the start...then we'd have fewer countries at the negotiating table and a market well below where it ended today.

Again, if you're freaking out about weekly fluctuations of the market you're doing it wrong.

Taxpayer money? What?

Like the waste DOGE is going after.

How are tariffs related to 'taxpayer money?' The tariffs are being charged on foreign goods. What tax money are you talking about?

Seems to me you're using the term 'taxpayer' when you mean 'people who buy things.'

If so, 'taxpaying' is irrelevant.

Nobel laureate Paul Krugman joined other economists Thursday in delivering some harsh words for President Donald Trump’s shifting tariff policies and those who think he’s doing a good job.

“Anyone sounding the all-clear on tariffs, or Trump economic policy in general, should be kept away from sharp objects and banned from operating heavy machinery,” Krugman, one of the country’s top economists, wrote in a Substack posttitled “Trump Is Stupid, Erratic and Weak.”

if he thinks Trump is stupid imagine his take on @BillsFanNC

Now with news that countries like Japan are dumping bonds, it's basically a sign that they figured out how to beat Trump. He blinked and admitted the bond market got him spooked.
