Hope it holds because I would love to see the look on that apartheid *****’s face after his fake million dollar scam did nothing.

I hated that circus, but I also hated the huge amounts of money pumped into a judicial election by both sides.

Elections for judges have always bothered me, since they're supposed to be above the partisan political fray. I get it: today people view judges - including and maybe particularly high court judges - as politicians in robes. Obviously there's some truth to that. But this electioneering opens the floodgates to a particularly rotten circus.

Life tenure is supposed to save federal judges from this. I think we need something in between, like set lengthy (15 year) terms.

Electing judges makes about as much sense as electing surgeons.

“It’s time for them to walk away from this unelected, unpopular, unhinged and un-American billionaire puppet master,” a triumphant House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said of Musk Tuesday night.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer applauded Wisconsin’s voters, whom he said “sent a decisive message to Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and DOGE by rejecting an extreme Republican for their Supreme Court: our Democracy is not for sale.”

Wisconsin is allowed to choose their favorite billionaire like any other state. In spite of that they voted for VOTER ID.

Soros donated $2 million to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, which then gave the money to Crawford's campaign. Per Wisconsin election law, large donations must first be given to the state parties, then transferred to the candidate.

In February, Crawford defended Soros's support of her campaign, telling the Journal Sentinel it is unlike Musk's support of Schimel.

"The difference is that we have Elon Musk as Donald Trump's righthand man dismantling the federal government right now," Crawford said. "(Musk) has canvassers going around the state, hanging flyers from doors that say we need Brad Schimel to protect the Donald Trump agenda. You will not see anyone from George Soros to [Illinois] Gov. [JB] Pritzker making similar assertions about me."

The voter ID is informative as Frank said.  D's need to get behind this while simultaneously helping voted obtain the ID's.

Now there's 2 voices I want to listen to which both serve in a state that has the highest tax rates in the nation and people have been leaving the state in huge numbers for years and the economy has pretty much sucked ever since I left in 1985 .

Both are definitely the voice of reason FOR SURE !!

Put those 2 along with Nadler, Waters, & Schiff & you would have a royal flush !!! Oh and OAC could be the wild card !!!

So about 15% of voters agreed with Voter ID, but also voted for the liberal Supreme Court judge.

Sometimes we do need to listen to the voice of the people. Maybe someday there will be a sensible political party again.

My theory is that 15% is the Republicans who are quietly one issue voters on abortion (on the pro abortion side).

Seems like the only option since I don't think there are any dems who would vote for this woman and also want voter ID in their constitution.
