Preds Posted Tuesday at 08:33 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:33 PM I helped found a complex 12 team dynasty league with contracts and team salary caps on both cap space and contract years. We even have Franchise Players, RFA's, a rookie salary pay scale, incentive salary increases for rookies that do well during the life of their rookie contract, etc. The league is now entering it's 25th year. It's currently the only league I still do. Have many now longtime friends in that league from across the US. We use MFL, I'd have to look at the sleeper app as that is new to me. I'd be interested if you haven't hit 12 teams yet. 1 Quote

MPL Posted Tuesday at 09:25 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:25 PM I've been in a dynasty league I started for 10+ years — I'm talking full-on salary cap, multi-year contracts, practice squad, player holdouts, everything. It's a 12-team league and a lot of fun. But I've always thought a 16-team (or more) league would be best. We just never found that many committed managers. Anyway, I'm very interested. 1 Quote

section122 Posted Tuesday at 10:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:13 PM Im definitely interested I would say $100 buy in is likely better than 25 as it makes sure people take it seriously and don't bail. 1 Quote

Yeah I like a higher buy-in too, I just didn’t want it to be a barrier for entry to people who aren’t as economically fortunate. After a few DM discussions, I’m doubtful that it would be anything less than $50. Quote

LabattBlue Posted Tuesday at 10:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:52 PM (edited) Looks like I’d be very low on the pecking order, but just in case…I’d be interested. Invites based on TSW seniority? 😂 Edited yesterday at 01:59 AM by LabattBlue Quote

Then I’ll be DMing everyone that indicated interest just to see what their level of experience and willingness to commit is. And yes, tenure on the board definitely helps. I wanna try as hard as possible to get a consistent and committed group, though good people are definitely gonna get left out just by the nature of things, unfortunately. Quote
MR8 Posted Tuesday at 11:35 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:35 PM If there's a spot I'd be down, I've done dynasty auction, dynasty draft and regular draft leagues for years A few defunct over time others I fell away when we had our kids because of time, but they're older now and I'd be happy to get back into the fray of dynasty. For this to be true dynasty, do we allow trading of draft picks as well for future years? That always adds a really fun wrinkle, and while sometimes you get some issues with teams that are out dumping a little bit, there's obvious ways of mitigating that. But it also adds a fun way of adding keepers at the trade deadline who add value for your team next year while allowing some higher ticket players to go who you aren't going to keep anyway. Just a thought. Quote

Just a thought. There would absolutely be rookie draft picks, with the ability to trade away future picks, yes. One of my current leagues has three round rookie drafts each year, while the other has four rounds. In both cases, you can trade picks up to two years into the future. So this year, owners can trade picks as far out as the 2027 draft. One measure that can be helpful with this, though, is asking that if any owner trades a future 1st, they pay their league dues (or half their league dues) for that year up front. That helps prevent people from trading away all their future draft picks and then leaving the league, in which case it can be very hard to find a new owner to replace the departed owner, since the cupboard of draft picks is bare. zevo Posted Tuesday at 11:56 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:56 PM I’d also be interested. Seems like you have enough spots filled. $25 entry is a bit light to keep interest. $50-$100 I think would keep people engaged. Just my 2 cents. I’m currently in a dynasty league on sleeper. Sleeper is a great platform and great way to connect through their messenger system for working on trades and such. 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM I’m definitely interested. Have the home league, the work league, the college league (I’m the commissioner no big deal). Just need the fake bills “friends” (my girlfriend nickname for this board) league to cover my bases. Quote
