If I understand correctly the left is not debating that the government can or should be able to deport illegal immigrants but they are debating the small print of if they're gang affiliated or not? And the right is content with just taking any and all illegals out of the country based on the simplicity that they're here illegally?

He was still here "legally" because he made the claim that if he were deported back to El Salvador, he might face torture--after all, gang members torture other gang members, so he has a "legitimate" fear.
