Cap is gonna go zoom zoom zoom!!  I would expect the networks will be out and in comes Amazon, Hulu, Netflix and all the big streaming services.  Their market cap for CBS is $11 Billion.   The market cap for Netflix is $403 Billion.   The bidding war is going to be wild!

$6000 for 1 endzone preseason ticket against the Browns.

But you can pay it on a 12 month installment plan.

Beginning to think my lifetime game day enjoyment of the Bills will go full circle.

Hopefully Chris Brown isn’t the play-by-play guy by then.

That will make the beer feel more affordable. I like it.

the question I have is how many fans are going to be willing to buy 3 - 4 streaming services to watch games on Thursday, Sunday, Sunday Night and Monday. Knowing that the biddiing will probably get out of control and have to be passed on to the consumer

It would only make sense to get out of those deals ASAP.  why leave money on the table?

Oh I bet if there is more money to be made ole Roger will be making changes to grab as much of it as he can and I'll bet some will go directly in a bonus for him too .

I would rather go to the bar and watch the games then pay for all of these streaming services.

The one thing that's in play which helps the networks - the NFL's antitrust exemption.  Expect significant political blowback if Sunday afternoon games do not remain on free OTA tv.

Can’t wait!

just going to need to buy Netflix, YouTube TV, Amazon prime, peacock, paramount plus, Hulu, disney, and espn plus. Piece of cake.

(Oh, and then odds are, the games will be on major holidays anyway, and so I won’t be able to see them).

I no longer watch any NBA, even the Finals, and I change the channel when the NBA becomes the topic.

NIL and the transfer portal have me sitting on the edge as far as college hoops goes. It doesn’t bother me when I miss seeing my team play a game. I no longer travel to see them play. My interest is rapidly waning.

As for the NFL, I’m not just disinterested, I’m a little bit angry. I don’t watch much NFL other than the Bills. My tolerance for their greed has limits.

Yeah and streaming services are now starting to experiment, or outright use, ads. We have gone in a big circle - buy streaming services to avoid ads - now see ads unless you pay more - so much for cutting the cord being cheaper alternative.
