Going one step further it could mean that Cook's team (agent and brother) advised these actions as a plan to get him out of Buffalo. Unfortunately there could be logic behind that - one is Buffalo has a history of not paying RBs. Two, Buffalo looks to use Cook as a two down back which would limit his payday. And third, Cook's 2024 season seems like it might be hard to beat so 2025 may not be viewed as adding to Cook's value. They just re-signed Ty Johnson . That's my take on it too after Beane's comments. Especially considering they paid Ty Johnson and Allen called him the best 3rd down back in the league. He may have already requested a trade for all we know considering the drafts in a few weeks. Should be interesting. Edited yesterday at 12:40 AM by Doc Brown 5 Quote

They can also be game breakers when paired with good/great QBs, which means that teams need excellent WRs. RBs are not WRs. Most RBs start declining in their late 20s because of the wear and tear on their bodies. It's also not the 1990s when teams absolutely needed great RBs. Cook's also not a great RB like Saquan Barkley or Derrick Henry. He's not even an every down RB. It's unlikely that many teams are going to be willing to pay top dollar for a temperamental RB who's not an every down back. I don't think holding out or playing with a crappy attitude is in Cook's best interest if he and the Bills can't come to terms before the season starts. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26243380/bell-plans-join-jets-4-years-525m Quote

They also traded for a 39-year-old QB a couple of years ago. Bell's big contract done 6 years ago sure isn't going to make teams line up to sign disgruntled RBs for big bucks. If anything, it's a cautionary tale for NOT paying RBs. 2 2 1 Quote

Do you live in Western NY? I can give you recommendations to good pizza places. I have lived most of my life in WNY, and have had a lot of bad, greasy, bland sauce tasting, toppings sliding off, from local pizza sports. I have had Pizza over my life from dozens and dozens of local places, from Depew, Cheektowaga, Williamsville, Lancaster, the city of Buffalo, Tonawandas, Lewiston, Niagara Falls and East Aurora. Some good, some not so good. When I get a pizza from Dominos it is the same each and every time, consistent....and while its not loaded with toppings, it is better than all of the 'bad' pizza's I have had from local spots. 1 Quote

In my neighborhood a house that size that backs to a busy street and needs significant updating is easily twice that. But that's So Cal. I don't see how 1st time buyers could ever do it. 1 Quote
SoTier Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 1 hour ago, yall said: Way overpriced. $340 square foot? I don't think it's actually for sale. I looked at the photos, and I wasn't impressed. I would call the house "uninspiring" rather than "stunning". I have no doubt that it's filled with the usual expensive finishes that are popular with buyers with lots of bucks to spend on a house, but it's just an ordinary suburban tract house that could have been built in the last 30 years in Anywhere, USA. Put it in a less upscale subdivision and it's a $500k house. Put it in a less upscale subdivision with less expensive finishes, and it's a $300K house. 2 Quote

alg Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Cook is one hangnail away from sitting out most of the season. I don't think a lot of you get it. We trade him before or during the draft ... or we have a season-long headache without a cure. 3 Quote
