Another Fan Posted Monday at 04:54 PM Posted Monday at 04:54 PM I’m usually not one to comment on other teams here but this seems a very Jets thing to do. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jets-offered-buyouts-to-roughly-170-of-250-employees Turning chicken**** to chicken salad in the article. I usually get good annual performances where I work but if I got some kind of package I would definitely consider it and at the moment lean towards yes 2 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted Monday at 05:04 PM Posted Monday at 05:04 PM Considering how crappy the Owner and Org is, I bet there is a high acceptance rate on that. 1 Quote

Captain Hindsight Posted Monday at 05:13 PM Posted Monday at 05:13 PM Tough for employees that have worked their entire lives to have a chance to work for an NFL team. That said, I give the Jets credit for trying to change the culture, although not sure if this is the best method 1 Quote

DrDawkinstein Posted Monday at 06:40 PM Posted Monday at 06:40 PM "DOJE - Department of Jets Encompetence" was my favorite comment I've seen on this. How do you change the culture when this guy and Brick are still in charge? Quote
Einstein Posted Monday at 06:47 PM Posted Monday at 06:47 PM Honestly? Probably the best idea the Jets have had in decades. I said it when Pegula was hired - I wanted him to empty the organization. I didn’t want a single employee left. I know that is not really feasible, but the idea was that I did not want anyone here who has a stench of failure. The only problem with the Jets idea, is that Woody would have to fire himself too. 1 1 Quote

A good idea, but completely pointless for the reason we both pointed out. The biggest issue and problem is the owner. If he isnt changing, then nothing is. It'll be even worse the more Brick is around too. He's even been told he's the problem and isnt listening. Good luck with that! Edited Monday at 06:54 PM by DrDawkinstein 1 1 Quote

Jim Overdorf turned out to be a quality keep, though. He used to come under fire in the old days. 2 2 1 Quote
julian Posted Monday at 07:02 PM Posted Monday at 07:02 PM Dominating this division is made easy by the Jets and Dolphins, as long as the kid at QB in NE doesn’t become great, Bills will win this division for the next 8 years barring injury to QB17. 2 Quote

Jimmy O has long been respected as a cap guru around the league and any criticism he received from fans was misinformed. He is still the first person Beane consults on cap matters. 2 Quote

I had this conversation with someone back in the 2008-2011 years when the economy was real bad who was a CFO. He pretty much told me he believed in general most people would leave where they worked if they got a halfway decent package deal point being even with economic uncertainty most will still jump shimp Edited Monday at 07:20 PM by Another Fan 1 Quote
