Nominally it's beyond my pay grade but I think I can try to use your first one as a template. When's the expiry supposed to be?

Make it for tomorrow at 8p EST please.

Had to make the cut at 15 but I'll mention them in the OP to see if there's a groundswell to get them in

I think this is intriguing but too early

I think if I had to pick a player comparison for Jordan Burch, it would be Gregory Rousseau. Burch is a power EDGE but lacks an array of pass rush moves. He has a nice bull rush but that’s it. Very thick and strong though.

I think Burch is more athletic than given credit for and he appears to have dropped considerable weight this offseason, I think he’s under 270 now.  Most of the DEs who are big enough to play the run in base defense aren’t going to be great speed pass rushers.  I actually think if they want a DE in round 2 they could pick from Burch, Tuimoloau and Sawyer - all kind of good run defenders with a bit of pass rush (power) - none will be confused Von Miller in his prime.

Ok i,am leaving to go to class.

Yup it is in Wisconsin. 67 students.

It is only an 11 and 42 minute drive 🚗 😒

But given the 2nd poll I don't think the chiefs will be up again.

Every one have a nice weekend ☺️

The poll is going to close at 2p.  I’ll be free to do the second poll.

I know we are worried about the DLine but this draft would totally reshape our secondary. If Bishop gets better you’d have all the spots covered by really talented players.

Getting Fangio helped too. That’s like the Chiefs getting Spags

In this scenario would rather go WR. Better players left

True. Was a significant coaching upgrade. But also Mitchell and DeJean were significant pieces.

At this point they should be looking for someone who can be a decent starter or good rotational player.  Should not reach too far for a run stopping DT - what’s left looks like marginal value at DT unless they would consider a smaller penetrating guy like Norman-Lott.  Don’t love the DEs left either, but Tuimoloau and Burch have solid floors at least.  Open to most any position if there is a good prospect there.

The Carolina Panthers select Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State.

The Panthers continue to build the D with the best player available at a position of need. I considered both S and DT here, but felt this was the best value of the the D options. The athletic Porter at 6'3" 195 runs a 4.3 with a 36.5" vertical. He has only one full year at CB but his pure speed and zone experience will allow him a shot to start in his first year. He has great potential with his length on downfield passes but needs to get stronger in press coverage off the ball. He will need to improve his tackling technique but brings a super high upside if he can reach his peak potential. In the rest of the draft the Panthers will have an opportunity to fill the other positions of need with 2 /4th round picks and 3 /5th round picks. Porter can fill in at CB2 opposite the talented but overpaid Jaycee Horn. An improved pass rush from edge rusher Shemar Stewart should help them both.

@RyanC883 is on the clock for the Texans
