Virgil Posted Monday at 07:53 PM Author Posted Monday at 07:53 PM Only the Eagles left. Once I have that owner, the draft will start Quote
section122 Posted Monday at 07:55 PM Posted Monday at 07:55 PM I made a google doc to track the best available, picks made, and team needs. If anyone could help me manage it send me a pm. @Big Blitz interested in doing it again this year? 1 Quote
Draconator Posted Monday at 08:00 PM Posted Monday at 08:00 PM I suck at analyzing college sports, but I'll take the Eagles. Kinda like taking one for the home team. @Virgil 1 Quote
Virgil Posted Monday at 08:11 PM Author Posted Monday at 08:11 PM With the 1st pick in the 2025 TSW 1.0 Mock Draft, the Tennessee Titans select Cam Ward, QB, Miami. GM - If this were a trade draft, we would have been open for business. However, we have been seeking our franchise QB for years now and Ward is our best bet in this draft. We know this won't change our immediate trajectory, but we have the draft capitol and cap space to start building around Ward and get ourselves into a solid position in a relatively weak AFC South. The Cleveland Browns @Motorin' are on the clock 1 1 Quote

That was the quickest we've ever filled the GM's to where no one needed to take on a second team, and all 32 teams have owners with picks in the first round. 1 Quote
Motorin' Posted Monday at 08:22 PM Posted Monday at 08:22 PM With the 2nd pick in the 2025 TSW 1.0 Mock Draft, the Cleveland Browns select Abdul Carter, DE, Penn State. Defense wins championships, and the Browns get the #1 player in the draft... The NY Giants and @Big Blitzare on the clock. 1 1 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted Monday at 08:26 PM Posted Monday at 08:26 PM My favorite time of year! A big thanks to Virgil and all the volunteer owners who do this. Makes this boring part of the year a bit more interesting. I cant wait to hate who we pick in the poll. 3 2 3 Quote

I think the Browns are in a tough spot. They just paid Garrett and Sanders is not a sure thing at QB. With the cap hell the Browns are in, I think the would love to trade back and acquire more cheap labor. Personally, if they stay put at #2, I don't think they go Carter because of Garrett, but I also don't know who else they would take. I could see them taking OT Membou, as their offensive line was horrible last year. Quote

They aren't going to be scared away from Sanders. If the Browns don't take him the Giants will. Quote

I've seen more conversation of late that he could fall out of the top 10 and his being rated the #2 QB is more because of it being a weak QB class. Now, with that being said, you can't believe ANYTHING you read within a month of the draft, so who knows anymore. Quote
Big Blitz Posted Monday at 08:39 PM Posted Monday at 08:39 PM (edited) With the 3rd pick in the draft, the New York Football Giants select CB/WR/best player in the draft Travis Hunter, Colorado. QB will wait till day 2. And if this were a trade draft, we’d be taking calls - and we would look to trade back and draft Sanders later in round 1. We can’t pass up Hunter here. Stack elite talent - at least if drafting one doesn’t pan out, we need to make the roster as attractive as possible for a vet QB that may be on the move in a trade. We shall see. The Patriots and @section122 are on the clock. Edited Monday at 09:06 PM by Big Blitz 1 Quote
Virgil Posted Monday at 08:40 PM Author Posted Monday at 08:40 PM I just realized I only have the first round of selections listed. I will add rounds 2 and 3 in a bit. This will be 3 rounds. 3 Quote

Logic Posted Monday at 09:54 PM Posted Monday at 09:54 PM I'm just glad the first three picks have been more or less realistic and likely to be similar to real life (barring trades). Sometimes the first or second team out the gate in these things decides to be cheeky and take someone that there's about a 5% likelihood the real team would draft in that spot. And granted, this is just for fun and it's supposed to be what WE would do if we ran the team, but still. It can kind of derail and invalidate things quickly if enough people decide to go rogue and make wild picks. Aaaanywho....nice job, first three lads. Looking forward to seeing how things go. 2 Quote
Virgil Posted Monday at 11:47 PM Author Posted Monday at 11:47 PM (edited) With the 4th pick in the TSW 1.0 Mock draft, the New England Patriots select Mason Graham, DT, Michigan. GM - We were in a tough spot watching Carter and Hunter come off the board before our pick. In a trade draft, we would definitely been open for business. We have need at WR, but there wasn't anyone with value at 4. Graham is the consensus best overall defensive interior lineman in a deep draft, so we are happy to build up the trenches for our new defensive minded coach. The Jaguars @TPS are on the clock ***TPS has until 10am tomorrow morning to make his pick. The draft runs from 9a-10p. With it being almost 8p EST, he has that time. However, if people want to make picks throughout the night, that's entirely up to them. Edited Monday at 11:49 PM by Virgil 1 Quote

Can't have enough in the trenches. Quote
