warrior9 Posted April 8 Posted April 8 With the 85th selection, The Denver Broncos select BJ Adams DB- UCF Pairing another 6'2 Corner with Surtain to go along with Grant in the first round can make this defense an absolute nightmare. Adams plays very well press coverage, has prototypical frame and solid footwork. His main concern is his ability or desire to tackle but getting into this physically tough defense, I think we could see his mentality change. This defense is building itself to stop the juggernauts. The Chargers and @LEBills are on the clock 1 Quote

LEBills Posted April 8 Posted April 8 With the 86th selection, The Los Angeles Chargers select Harold Fannin Jr Tight End Bowling Green This one is for the dozens of Chargers fan. They have been clamoring for more weapons for Justin Herbert. Now we won’t draft more WRs because Greg Romans offense can’t sustain more than one, but we will draft a tight end and boy did one fall into our lap. Fannin, as a 20 year old, put up 117 catches for 1555 yards and 10 touchdowns including 19 catches for 282 yards and two touchdowns combined vs Penn State and Texas A&M. He had a 2.89 yards per route run, best for a Tight End since 2018. Brock Bowers was second with 2.64 yprr. We expect him to fill in as the Brock Bowers/Travis Kelce role to match fire power with the rest of the AFC West The Packers and @EmotionallyUnstable are on the clock 1 1 Quote

Some will point to his RAS or the conference he played in as reasons that his production was fluky. Others will point out that two of his biggest games of the season came against Penn State and Texas A&M, neither of whom are slouches defensively. Looking at the tape itself, do you feel he projects well to the pros? Where do you have him ranked? Quote

Looking at the tape itself, do you feel he projects well to the pros? Where do you have him ranked? I love his tape, probably because it so fun and unusual. But my original grade which was a low 2nd has been modfied down in my second go round of tight ends. I have somewhat reluctantly moved him down to a mid 3rd and TE4. But in every class you have guys you just actively root for. He is one of those for me this year. I see him as a time share tight end in an offense where the #1 is kind of all athleticism but questionable production. Fannin matched with someone like that could be a productive duo. Seattle (with Fant) or Denver (with Engram) if they pass on a TE at #20 make sense to me. 1 Quote

Yea they need playmakers on offense which he can do well and he has a career 1.9% drop rate to help Chargers fans recover after watching two years of QJ stone hands 2 Quote
