I could see if he was taking over mid-season but that is not the case here. 4 hours ago, wppete said: He is a great coach. I think there are requirements to fulfill before hiring a coach permanently. Because he's not going to stay there permanently He's there to help Andrew luck right the ship.. everything I've been told they will look for a new coach after the season with college experience Quote

No I have some friends at ACC schools and Big 12 schools.. so I called some of them up to ask what was going on I called my Stanford booster friend.. and he said he was told it was a mutual one year interim deal Try and get Andrew luck's rookie GM year going smoothly... He felt comfortable with Reich and with the quick turnover since they fired their last coach that's who he wanted But it does seem like a mutual favor because Reich does want to get back to the NFL Edited Monday at 08:01 PM by Buffalo716 Quote
mushypeaches Posted Monday at 08:23 PM Posted Monday at 08:23 PM Frank Reich went from coaching for one of the best owners in the game to two of the absolute worst. Hope he’s learned his lesson 1 Quote

But it’s kinda of a meh school in the world of college football. Their crowds are blah and I don’t think they are a big travel fanbase. but it is what ideally college sports should be about. It’s a hard school to recruit. I never thought of Luck as an electric personality but it would be cool to see them get good again. Yeah, great guy but I’m not sure he is a great coach. I think Stanford got Bill Walsh and they had Harbaugh. This is miles from that. It’s a tough place to build a program. Didn't Harbaugh's father also coach there or am I thinking of someone else's father?? Quote

My best friend was a sooner and is one of their biggest boosters so I get a lot of sooner scoops and have gone to the last 2 spring games So that's my biggest contact but I have a couple on the West Coast 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted Monday at 11:57 PM Posted Monday at 11:57 PM How do you successfully recruit when your coach is a one-year interim guy? Quote
