BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) I'm not thinking Harvard graduate Ryan Fitzpatrick, or Naval Academy graduate Roger Staubach are fair comparisons here, so sticking to some 'in the ballpark' choices - Which QB does Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth most remind you of? Personally I'm leaning total ***** bust, so I'm voting JaMarcus. The other addicts can tell us what a sad story it was later on. Edited March 31 by BringMetheHeadofLeonLett

BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 Cast your vote - he's gotta be better than a 1st overall bust in your eyes, doesn't he?

Is it really that inconceivable that some people fly airplanes- surely you have seen them buzzing around up in the sky when you lean your head back to 'pick a winner', right? Funny you should bring up pilots in a Pete Hegseth thread, apparently he's not... leaving a good taste in the mouth of our fighter pilots - but who needs them when we've got Pete Hegseth defending the nation https://www.yahoo.com/news/appalling-fighter-pilots-hegseths-signal-173306277.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAANNDJ2SCvij1c5rbLXsAeQGrklmwTL9RczS1iSMR_y5IGl1A2SPYncH3ujtDBEz-MFAOVA0FjyCx6NIyhgcazvBfhsQlgpEddBZgV6UJCF7QLnV5c1VYfn6NPOoBJmf_A1nR1QDvsWVXaDV1zSBkOm64idk2BbXdZ1jc12yGAyS5
frostbitmic Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Before seeing the choices I said Billy Joe Hobert - A guy who didn't study his playbook. If he had he wouldn't have broken the law ... Maybe. 1

And to answer your question, Mayor Pete is the equivalent of Bruce Mathison.

I think Billy Joe COULD have gotten the playbook if he'd read it, but I'm less confident in Hegseth- these are serious, base-level, at their core morons we're dealing with here. 1

And to answer your question, Mayor Pete is the equivalent of Bruce Mathison. Well, here's a concept - at the 4th or 5th grade 'Science Fair', while other kids were showing off volcanoes, tarantula terrariums, or the glass F-16 canopy their dad borrowed from his job at General Dynamics, I built a wind tunnel and showed off various airfoil properties. 2 years later I was surrounded by Navy brass from NAS Pt Mugu watching me fly remotes. I was bad ass- that's why they sought me out... and probably helped inspire the feasibility of using drones- for better or worse. Got my license after saving up from summer jobs in my teens, and when I passed my checkride, I was told by my own instructor that I was a better pilot than her. It was likely true, and it was also very kind of her to say. I can fly the snot out of an airplane- how's your parallel parking coming along these days? 1
