If you remove nostalgia from my brain the one's we currently have with the white helmet are superior to the 90's look in my not so humble opinion.

I agree with this but Nostalgia is powerful, especially for those early 90s Super Bowl Bills teams

I prefer the white helmets, in fact I prefer the standing Bison. Only team team insignia with visible genitalia. The reason for the red helmets was because every team in the AFC East had white helmets. Someone thought changing to red would help Ferguson throw less interceptions.
