He has plenty of potential to improve his pass game. Been noted by  a good few others. Kids has plenty of upside and solves the problem Bills have today.

Our pass rushers will improve significantly with Grant in the middle and Oliver aside him. trust me on this one Coach.

Normally I say get a one tech anywhere in the draft. Get a Nose in the fifth.

But Grant and perhaps Harmon are day one game effective

Grant can collapse the pocket.. Does it always result in a sack? No, but his teammates may get one.

I think if Buffalo wants Grant, we may need to trade up around 18-20ish to get him. I wonder if Buffalo could package up #30 and maybe swap one of our RD2 picks for a mid RD3.

Buffalo gets pick #20 + a 3rd

Trade partner gets #30 + a 2nd

There’s a few EDGE guys that I wouldn’t mind, like the kid from FSU or the kid from Marshall, but Grant is best case scenario imo…

Veach trading up one slot with the Bills to select him so Beane can get an extra 6th rounder and........this board might explode.

If he makes it to 30, it’s because there’s an injury or some off-field issue we don’t know about.

Can’t believe you are shilling for a DT 🤔… there must be some WR you want them to take instead ?

Gotta trade up.  My fear is Beane is going to out think himself again and wait and get whomever at 30 or trade down, thinking he can do as good.

Nahh. It’s just that guys with his physical ability don’t make to the end of the first round unless there are issues (see Chris Jones, Jeffrey Simmons)…

Well, Beane does have a history of making modest trade-ups to get his guy, but I’m afraid we’d need to get into the top 20 for Grant.

I'd be surprised if he goes top 20. Dexter Lawrence at #17 is the highest I can remember a 1T going. They normally start to go late first.

I’m still gunna be surprised if Beane takes one at 30 … Harrison Phillips is the full list of 1T he has drafted I believe … and he went at 90 odd ..

yea its a concern for sure

But i saw he might be dropping too lol

There are mocks that have Bills taking him at thirty

Be brutal to get to twenty. Next years Bills pick probably. He is looking to go twenty ? I might have to fold. And I really have a thing for this guy

you look into Harmon some folks are talking up ?

Times change.
and we should have made better use of Harrison. I digress

addition by not subtracting ? keeping the team together when they are key pieces , and he is , is just smart all around.

Keeping Levi Wallace was more of what one might describe as , maintaining the status quo

Benford is a fine example of a good investment in a player. He is still trending up. Wouldn't you agree FC ?

That's why there's nothing wrong with the move at all.

But I'm not saying, "man the 2025 Bills are going to be so much better than the 2024 Bills because...... Chrisitan Benford is under contract through 2028"

Yep

Hanging my hopes on just that.

Because he has some pass rush or good push already?  he projects as more upside in skill sets with Coaching. Maybe why he also has been mocked earlier i suppose

According to Bruce Nolan, Harmon is a great fit for the Bills’ defense.

Ah yes, so he did. Still, it's pretty rare. I think with all the edge guys early Nolen and Grant will end up later than they would in a lot of other years.

I say do it.  Why mess around, just package up a couple picks and get it done

Another one and less than 20 million a year. 4 out of 5 drafted free agents taken care of. Cook is going to be tricky but now McBeane only has one more to go.

I do hope they also consider getting McGovern signed to an extension. He’s only gonna be 28 and at a position that plays at a high level into their 30’s.

They might like Van Pran Granger as a replacement for McGovern, we'll have to wait and see.

Pretty reasonable deal as long as he’s healthy.

This must be the new reasonable, because my definition of reasonable is TOTALLY different from that one ... Just saying .

To play devil's advocate, Joe Burrow has elite pre-snap processing skills and is an incredibly accurate passer. He is the most Brady-like of any young QB in the league. This year, he had almost 5,000 yards passing this year with 43 TD passes. Those are elite numbers and he led the league in both of them. Everyone on this board was praying that they didn't sneak in as the seven seed because we were so afraid of playing Burrow. Their offense is elite and they would have made the SB if they had any type of a defense.

It would be interesting to see how Josh would do throwing to Chase and Higgins.

Another reason Josh is at a different level is durability.

In 7 seasons, Josh has played in 111 of 117 regular season games... nearly 95% of all games. The only games he missed were in his rookie season.

In 5 seasons Burrow has played in 69 of 82 regular season games... only 84% of all games.
