Not only did she do a good deed for others, but the video clip of her is awesome. She may travel by private jet, but she loves the metro! https://talksport.com/tennis/2983531/jessica-pegula-indian-wells-wta-private-jet/ OK, fine, her parents are wealthy and can provide a private jet for her, that she really can't afford on her own. Just asking, wouldn't it be nice if Terry Pegula sold the jet and used the money to pay to the cap for the Sabres? 1 Quote

We know people who use a service like NetJets just because it makes them more efficient. It doesn’t have to be Mommy and Daddy’s plane, though it may be. It’s not uncommon for professional athletes to travel this way, though it did not end well for Payne Stewart. Quote

Also I can attest to seeing a bunch of private jets in and out of Palm Springs for Paribas at Indian Wells. The rental car company was running behind and didn’t have cars ready. The people sitting next to me outside mentioned it. Definitely a steady stream of rich people planes. And what’s the cost difference for someone like Pegula anyway? Coaches, trainers, family, friends and equipment all going commercial versus just one private plane? Not to mention how often you can get sick from commercial air travel. It’s probably worth the extra $20k or so it costs just to be sure there’s no screw ups by the airline or she doesn’t get the flu a couple times a year. 1 Quote

Totally true. especially for a pro with 12 people work from/to small/mid sized cities like BUF net jets etc. non stop, makes sense. NetJet Phenom 300 light jet $8,600/hr. $700/person 1 Quote
