I can't believe I am defending Hallmark but it is definitely not "the men are bad". Usually the men are simply unaware of why the women is so great, rarely are the guys bad. I think you mean Lifetime. My wife is all about Hallmark. 1 Quote

Talley56 Posted Saturday at 04:00 AM Posted Saturday at 04:00 AM Well, I think it's pretty obvious what the 2025 home opener tailgates are going to feature. Quote
Dan Darragh Posted Saturday at 09:18 AM Posted Saturday at 09:18 AM This is the best Hallmark movie of all: https://www.imdb.com/video/vi1736835353/?playlistId=tt0194342&ref_=tt_ov_pr_ov_vi For those who haven't seen it, I think the whole movie is available on YouTube. Quote

The channel is geared towards women and the movies main character is usually a woman. This usually makes the male lead one dimensional and fall into a typical male archetype. Plus, Hallmark saves 25% hiring mostly women. 1 Quote

I think that’s a stereotype of the Lifetime channel left over from the 90’s and 00’s Quote

It's the traditional Hallmark plot. Right. Somehow she's stranded in the town due to some large snow storm. The one bridge to the town is snowed over. Josh is the towns handyman with a tool belt wearing flannel shirts. Tall and handsome with really nice hair. Once the bridge is cleared she makes the decision to go back to the big city breaking Josh's heart. They show her pulling away in the limo breaking Josh's heart. Then at the last second the limo turns around and she and Josh share a long embrace. She sacrifices her career for Josh, true love. The end Quote
NyQuil Posted Saturday at 04:27 PM Posted Saturday at 04:27 PM Hallmark isn't the men are bad channel, thats Lifetime. Hallmark however is the same four or five formulaic plots that they change little details about and rehash. My parents love the channel so when I am at their house I will catch a few minutes and I've then watched a couple at home that aren't bad. That being said I did not watch the Chiefs movie but will gladly watch this trainwreck. Quote
