I remember him from the Golf Channel broadcasts. He talked too much then and apparently has never changed.

Charles Davis on NFL games was always strange to me. Had a 1987 cup o’ joe in the league.

I really loved him when he worked as a draft analysis with Mike Mayock back in the day.

Very smart and definitely knew his business.

I don't hear him enough as a color guy to have a legit opinion though.
