This means that Rodgers has the Steelers over a barrel.  I haven't heard anything about them being interested in Cousins.

It's not spectacular, but the Steelers did bring back Mason Rudolph.

Rudolph closed the season as their starter 2 seasons ago and played pretty good ball for them. Made some more spot starts last year with the Titans. And is very well liked in the locker room.

It isn't perfect, but that's the starter if Rodgers pulls a fast one and retired or signed with someone else. My opinion is they may actually be better off with Rudolph.

And he sure did get under Miles Garrett's skin!

They should have stuck with Winston drafted Shadeur and called it a day

Wilson is toxic and does nothing to help you build your team

I don't think he is toxic, as we have not heard that really during his career, though we did hear he tried to get rid of Carrol. More like a dunce, than toxic, it seems.  Cannot read a defense well or think on his feet well, even after a long career.

But good point, Winston and then draft someone.  I think Wilson is an insurance policy only and period.

He will clearly never lead a team to the playoffs again, as he cannot do almost anything in the middle of the field and has only one pass that seems to work.

Singing Wilson and Winston do open the opportunity that they are passing on QB (Sanders) at 3.

All the master plan to tank for Arch Manning next year to bring back the good times. Were looking through the crystal ball here, people.

They may pass on QB round 1. Take someone who can basically red shirt this year and develop. Milroe would be my guess. No guarantee Arch even comes out next year.

I can't believe there was one point where I actually thought the Giants found a gem in Dabol and I thought the Bills let one get away.

My guess is a breakup was coming anyways and Daboll getting the head coach job conveniently worked out.

If the Vikings want a veteran what are they waiting for? Seems like McCarthys health is in doubt.

Kirk Cousins for a 4th or 5th maybe?

I think they will draft Jaxson Dart.

I think Dart is gone by their 2nd round pick. He's my bet for 3rd QB off the board. They would have to move up for him.

Edit: I thought you meant Giants. If you meant Pittsburgh as per the quote you were referring to...I agree. That's a prime spot for Dart.

I thought they had a first? Thats pick I was thinking.  Dart is a interesting pick, the so called experts have him as 2nd QB taken  or as bad as a 3rd round pick.

Forgot about Rudolph but they seem to be all in this season picking up DK.

Shoen and Daboll were put in a ***** position. Inherited Jones who’s terrible. They finally get their opportunity to get their QB and this draft is garbage for that.

they re-signed Jones to 40 mill a year! then they released him after 1 season at that rate. followed up with Drew Lock, Tommy Cutlets and Tim Boyle. lol

they are clowns.

now they will likely have to look seriously at a guy like Millroe or Dart at #3.

How are Schoen and Daboll still employed?

2 stooges looking for the third.

imagine being Giants fan since those 2 swam to shore in jersey.

Imagine being a Giants fan from the moment they forced out Coughlin. It has been a total ***** show. Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmer, Joe Judge, Brian Daboll. Gettlemen and Schoen. But ownership deserves a TON of blame too. They are a disastrous mess of a franchise.

17 can make any OC and HC look great.

I mean technically they did. But it was at the owner's instruction.

I don't think they are drafting a QB at #3 now. They have signed Jameis and Russ. Would be odd to sign two bottom end starting level vets if you plan to draft a guy. That normally signals a "we are gonna let these guys compete".

They have been a mess since Coughlin left but since 1986, they have 5 Super Bowl appearances with 4 wins.

This signing somewhat boggles the mind but I do think it means they are not drafting a QB this year.  That makes sense since the QB talent is meh in the draft.  Plus they need to win this year.  They don't have to make the playoffs, but they need to have a chance to sniff .500 for Schoen and Dabolls to stay employed.

Wilson is somewhat competent except he has major sack issues.  Do the Giants have an OL?

Here's a question for ya:  who would you rather have as your backup QB:  Trubisky, Wilson, or Winston?

You never want to tank a season but the best thing for the Giants organization would be to find themselves with the #1 pick next year and take Arch Manning. But Schoen and Daboll don't have the luxury of doing that as everyone knows they won't survive another miserable season.
