JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted Tuesday at 07:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:28 PM (edited) I was, and I do... (PS - the last game at the stadium will be an AFC conf. championship win) Bonus question - how likely are you to be at the first game at the new stadium? Let's call me doubtful on this one. Shaw66 Posted Tuesday at 07:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:34 PM (edited) I was and I do. New Highmark? Maybe. Oh, and I was at the first regular season game at the Rockpile. Edited Tuesday at 07:35 PM by Shaw66 12 1 13 Quote

ddaryl Posted Tuesday at 07:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:38 PM (edited) If you were at the 1st how could you possibly not be there for the last? Thats a no brainer. I was too young when Rick Stadium was errected. Honestly I have no clue the date of my 1st Bills game. Dad would take me when one in the group could not make a game. I do remember watching OJ running the football but the date eludes me. I would love to be at the 1st game in the new stadium but I have no plans to go out of my way to be there. If I am back in town I will make every effort to go. Edited Tuesday at 07:40 PM by ddaryl 3 Quote
Augie Posted Tuesday at 08:00 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:00 PM (edited) I was at the first game in ‘73. I was wondering, if I could only go to one or the other, the last game at the old place OR the first game in the new place…what would I prefer? If it’s the AFCCG that seals the deal, but otherwise? That would be a tough one for me. 🤷♂️ I’d want to say goodbye to the old place, but I can’t wait to see the new place. If they pour beer as slowly as they did at Tottenham, we just might tear the place down on opening day. I’d hate to miss my chance to see it in one piece. BuffaloBaumer Posted Tuesday at 08:16 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:16 PM I was not at the first, did not start going until about 78. I will definitely be at the last and bought 4 PSLs for the new one. 4 Quote
Doc Brown Posted Tuesday at 08:25 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:25 PM Anybody go to the first Bills game at War Memorial in 1960? I'm just curious if the wind was more or less confusing there. 2 Quote
27yankees Posted Tuesday at 08:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:32 PM 1st one was at Rockpile 67. The only time I was at Rich Stadium was the summer superfest's!!! 3 Quote
Bills fan since 87 Posted Tuesday at 08:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:37 PM (edited) No Yes Yes* I am season ticket holder and make it to about 4 regular season games. I sell the other 4 games (sometimes the bigger games) and make the money to finance my seasons. Never miss a playoff, though. And sure as hell would never miss the last game at Rich Stadium or the first in the new stadium, those are pricelss. Edited Tuesday at 08:39 PM by Bills fan since 87 2 Quote

4thAndInches Posted Tuesday at 09:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:03 PM I was at the first in '73, but never got there until halftime as traffic was total gridlock. We drove in from the Tonawandas and back then Orchard Park was like the other side of the world. I've been a season ticket holder ever since, so I'll be at the last one as well. And having bought 4 PSL's for the New Highmark, I'll be there for the 1st one as well. 5 1 Quote
ROCKPILE63 Posted Tuesday at 09:15 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:15 PM (edited) For me, last game at the Rock Pile, 1st game at Rich. Photographed many games on the sidelines for the Albany Times Union, early 2000’s. Plan on going to whenever the last game is. A long time Courier Express photographer Bob Bukaty died this year, the last time I saw him was on the sidelines shooting for the Niagara Falls Gazette. So Rich Stadium is a special place for all of us, lots of beautiful memories. Edited Tuesday at 09:19 PM by ROCKPILE63 1 2 2 Quote
Chandler#81 Posted Tuesday at 09:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:53 PM I made the ‘skins preseason game & home opener vs the Jets but I’m much older now and live in Florida. No way in Hell I’m attending a game there in late December/January! 1 1 Quote
PrimeTime101 Posted Tuesday at 09:58 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:58 PM my first game was against Miami in the 80's im going to say? mid 80's? and Miami ROASTED us. several great games in the middle. I have seen the last game there.. I know the experience.. I know what I am paying for.. and now saving for that next best experience the new will bring (or hope) to bring Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted Tuesday at 10:01 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:01 PM Not at the first, but I would like for the wife, grandson and I to be at the last. Quote
BillsPride12 Posted Tuesday at 10:07 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:07 PM I wasn't even alive when the current stadium opened This will be my last year having season tickets so I will definitely be there for the finale Gonna really try to make it to the first game at the new stadium but we'll see how hard it's going to be to get hands on tickets and at what cost Quote
MarkyMannn Posted Tuesday at 10:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:08 PM (edited) If the first game at Rich was the Redskins where the guy returned the opening kickoff for a TD, then I was there Edited Tuesday at 10:08 PM by MarkyMannn Quote
