I usually do this to find out about guys in later rounds but man this is fun. Anyways this has been my favorite draft.

Feel free to merge this into the other Mock thread**

Kyle Williams is interesting (beyond the name!) because he provides a vertical-speed threat.  Although, I fear he may be another guy that can't get open for Josh. See   https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Kyle-Williams-WR-UNLV for some analysis.  (Also, that website has a cool mock draft of its own at: https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/simulator )

Yeah I've been interested since I seen the name haha and I may have taken him a little higher than he would go but with 4 picks within 9 why not haha. Seems low enough risk at that point. But I don't have a clue what they want to do for WR

Most recent, no movement mock. Love the defensive haul, plus I think every pick is rosterable in 2025.

That’s the ideal draft.  Trey Amos rd 2.  😂 I haven’t had much time to watch tape this year but I got a few hours in today.  If Amos were our pick at 30, I’d be very happy. Coming from a guy that really wants an impact DL more than anything.  I really like Amos’ game.  I think he should be a 1st rd lock

I do 3 2 rounders on my own. I also do a 7 rounder for myself to see the latest possible pick I can get right.

The latest I ever got right was Darrell Luter Jr who was picked 155. I usually stay away from simulators because their rankings are way off

I am stuck in endless mock mode.  Moved a couple of our later picks in this one to move up after the first two rounds.  Very similar to Richard Noggin's above:

My Selections

Kenneth Grant

DL | Michigan

56

Trey Amos

CB | Mississippi

62

J.T. Tuimoloau

EDGE | Ohio State

94

Bradyn Swinson

EDGE | LSU

TRADE

107

Kevin Winston Jr.

S | Penn State

TRADE

206

Joshua Gray

IOL | Oregon State

221

Jaylin Lane

WR | Virginia Tech

TRADE

No.

Have your coffee before you post.  Curmudgeon is not a description of you that you want.  Would be happy to hear what you don't like.  I am not a fan of either the "we must have another weapon for Josh" crowd (especially given Palmer) or the "get a generational talent" fans.  I am a card-carrying member of the "we averaged 30+ points a game and did not lose because of offense.  We lost because of our defense and we need several defensive athletes to close the gap and win the SB" group.  These seem to be the three sets of thinking on this board.  Respect to the other two, but I believe in the third.  The one I waffled on was Tuimoloau vs. Princely.  But in this draft you get five players that will start on D or join the DL rotation, I believe.  Three on the line, two in the defensive backfield.

Like the top, don't like the back end.  1.) I think we should trade some of the later picks and move up in 3, 4, and 5 to get better talent; and 2.) Yuk to - Tommi Hill, Peebles.  I put him in some mocks, but Tuimoloau scares me - I am marginally okay with the pick.  Like Ransom and Sawyer.  I get pick #1, but I generally don't want a first round safety, especially if we get another safety like Ransom.  Stick a one technique at our first pick - Grant, Tyleek Williams, Harmon, and I like it a lot better!
