Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I was at the store the other day and the cashier saw my bills gear and said, “you better watch it— KC might tie you guys.” I had no idea what he was talking about. He then said, “yeah, If they make the SB this year, that will be four in a row, just like the Bills. I didn’t think anyone would ever do that again.” Never even dawned on me that KC has gone to three straight, and this year could be four. Our four in a row was an unreal accomplishment (that I think we take for granted, since we never won), and I think yet another reason we need to take KC down this year. 8 1 Quote
Buffalo716 Posted March 24 Posted March 24 They have played way too many games over the last four plus years They're not going to have the tank in January and February to get back 6 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I made a post about this topic after the Super Bowl was over, I'd really hate to see KC go to 4 in a Row. Most of the people that replied were kinda whatever about the whole thing saying it was never an accomplishment because we never won one of them😒 1 Quote
Beast Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I didn’t want to lose 4 playoff games in a row to KC but that happened. I couldn’t care less how far KC goes if we are out of it. I guess the only reason that would bother me if they went to 4 in a row is it would dig up the failure of our 4 in a row. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted March 24 Posted March 24 They went to three in a row and won 2. I'd would rather have that then the 4 in a row and all losses 1 2 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted March 24 Posted March 24 It would be fun if we beat them in the playoffs to prevent 4 in a row. And then won the Lombardi. 6 4 8 2 Quote
Augie Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I wish I could remember who it was, but just recently I saw one of the greatest ever in his sport just smile, shrug and say and it really doesn’t matter, records are made to be broken. I wish I could remember who it was, because he seemed very sincere and content. I like him more, whoever he is. Just now, hondo in seattle said: It would be fun if we beat them in the playoffs to prevent 4 in a row. And then won the Lombardi. OK, now I feel like we have a quality plan. 😊 1 2 Quote

I think he is only 6 or 7 behind at this point. 1 Quote

Dream scenario for the last game at Highmark would be to host the Chiefs in the AFC championship game, prevent them from getting to 4 in a row meanwhile catapulting us into the Super Bowl as the Josh Allen era is officially underway. What a finale that would be 2 1 Quote

If it wasn’t for the Bengals in 2021 it’d be 5 in a row for them IMO I cant ever dislike that team 1 Quote

Sweats Posted March 24 Posted March 24 You know, getting to the SB four straight years is quite an accomplishment, however, all 4 were losses, so if KC wants to clean that slate for us, have at it. 1 Quote
Mikie2times Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) I was pretty bummed when the greatest comeback got knocked off as #1 (although I think most people still recognize our as "the greatest"). I agree, I would not want to see somebody accomplish this. It is a much more difficult than a single Super bowl or even consecutive Super Bowls. I would still take just one over the four losses in a row, but more difficult for sure. Edited March 24 by Mikie2times 2 Quote

Eh, I don’t want them getting back to a SB for a loooooong time, especially if breaking that streak means means WE wouldn’t be in it. Edited March 24 by KingBoots8 Quote
GunnerBill Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I don't think KC makes the Superbowl in 2025. I am not saying the Bills will but last time after a bashing in the Superbowl they didn't make it back the next year. Quote

But they have been to 7 straight AFC championships. So while you think that the signs point to this slowing down for at least a year, we also saw Brady and the Patriots defy those thoughts for almost two decades. Somebody will have to take it from them like usual. I have no reason to believe it's anything but that until I see a more obvious decline. Quote

I just think this is the year they lose a close one somewhere in the post season. Quote

Success Posted March 25 Posted March 25 If KC makes the Super Bowl next year, I'm going to start pretending that there is no such thing as professional sports. Quote
